There was something different about this company, and we were inclined to know more about what their plan would be, other recommendations and timeline. The salesman, Derek, is highly professional and thorough, and helped with everything incl. insurance guidance, etc. Since the issue was not an 'Act of God' according to insurance standards, they would not cover repairs. [Failing/collapsing stucco]. To say TKB went above and beyond to orchestrate repairs is a gross understatement. Their professionalism (all of them), support, timeline, immaculate job site, care for grandma's peonies :0) everything was far above expectations. I cannot stop bragging about them! For such a catastrophic situation with our home, we can now rejoice in rain and snow, in a home that looks brand new. Read their background and mission statement. He arrived for scheduled appointment completed his inspection of our roof and spoke briefly with my husband. He indicated that he was going to provide a written estimate. However it has been three weeks and we have not received any estimate or response from Tim. No idea what happened but the customer was left waiting with no response from the company.

After the moving process was completed I was given a bill for a little over 3000 dollars and they wanted payment immediately. I contacted Scott to ask why the price was different than the quote and he immediately said that I must have misunderstood him pointing out the problem was me not understanding the 1800 dollar quote he told me.He said they work strictly by the hour and I must have had more stuff to move. No Scott, I didn't go out and buy more furniture. You came out and looked at everything and quoted me a price, why bother quoting a price when the price is determined by the speed or lack of your movers decide to have and trust me they took their time.This companies quotes mean nothing.The furniture moved was taking good care of but Scotts attitude was all it's your fault not mine.

The tech said someone needed to come out to measure our house to decide what to install. I told the tech they had measured our house the previous fall so they had the info they needed. When he left, our understanding was they were going to start the process - unless we got a call. Two days went by and we called them because we hadn't heard anything. They said they called us and neither of us had a message or a missed call. We had two extra days of heat because they dropped the ball. We understand, it's summer and we were facing the 4th of July, so we didn't expect an immediate fix. I wrote this in a review to the company and never heard anything in response to my complaints. We ended up going to their competitors getting a significantly lower quote and a quicker install. I have used this company in the past, but will never use them again.

Understandable, due to holidays and end of the year. 12/29 rolls around and I get no notification. I sent an email and got a response that the order is ready for shipping, BUT the price for shipping had increased and I needed to pay the additional. The biggest issue with this is that they hadn't lined up a courier and asked if I knew who delivered in the area. How did the cost increase when there hadn't been a company hired to deliver? I personally don't think this is good business. I asked to cancel the order and issue a full refund, but have not heard back.

Then they charged my card 4 different times for thousands of dollars (only 2 cents short of the orignal total bill). I called Eric Thovson (their solution specialist) and he said he would look into it. He never got back to me. So I reported this to the BBB and wrote a Google review. Then he called one of my contractors chewing him out and making up lies that obviously were not true, like that he never charged my card. Then after another day they have refunded only about half of my money. So this company is still trying to keep 1,640.53 of my money, when they didn't send me anything. This is stealing. Apparently that is what this company does, so I am still having to fight for my money back. They also made up a lie on the Google review by saying they never sold anything to me. I wouldn't be surprised if they do the same thing with the complaint I made to the Better Business Bereau.
