But let me tell you, the first guy took 45 min, second guy was 75 min in and still going by the time I left. The first barber (light-skinned latino) took 45 min, worked hard and did an excellent job on an older man. Honestly, while I waited and saw him work, I wanted my cut with him. Unfortunately he left to go inside their building and was replaced by this young black haired latino. He was working on this guy who walked in with a Phil Foden cut and 75 min in, largely unchanged but with a clean trim on the sides. (There was hardly any hair on the ground ) One reason his cut was taking so long was this barber was too busy live-streaming on his phone, occasionally looking at peoples' comments. It also didn't help he was cutting at a snail's pace. It's one thing to be attentive to detail (something the first barber was good at). It's another to just go hair by hair. Bad for business, wasting peoples' time, so much that I don't feel like stopping by the actual shop. Hope the business sees this and if they do, please let me know the name of that guy. If I ever do stop by, I'd like to avoid him at all cost.

I highly recommend Exclusive Blendz. Marco, the shop owner and Master Barber, has been cutting my hair for over a year now and I can say the experience has been excellent. Previously I'd always had my hair maintained by my hairstylist, but now that my sides and back are short I've added a barber to my team of hair professionals. Exclusive Blendz is a great shop and Marco always make it a great experience. The environment is relaxed and friendly, and he genuinely cares about making sure you're pleased with your cut and the overall service. I've been allowing Marco to cut, style and color my hair for almost three years now. The guy has a natural talent for cutting. Hes very professional, he listens and grasp what your saying to apply it to his style of cutting. I personally never have to wait long for a cut like I have on U st at one of those unfortunate spot, I've visit, whom shall remain nameless. I have been an Exclusive Blendz customer for years. I met the Owner Marcus when he was working in a small Salon Suite, and I'm so proud to see the way his business has flourished. As a woman it can sometimes be a little intimidating getting your haircut at a barbershop which is typically a male dominated environment. However, Marcus and the other barbers are true professionals and they make everyone feel welcome and comfortable. Needed a quick cut for my boys for a last minute event.... I walked into Sola (place close to the event) heard the music playing walked in that direction (second door on the right) and noticr the amazing artwork on the wall.. inviting and nice atmosphere I asked if they take walk ins and the guy in the first chair Marco said yea when i say this guy is great with kids especially since my eldest doesn't sit still.. he was so patient and calm the ending results were on point!!! Simply a great haircut every time. Marco cares a lot about detail and doesn't rush. I'm wearing glasses and I can't really see much of what's happening all the time during the haircut, but Marco's skill makes it so that I don't have to. I know I'm in skilled hands and every time I put my glasses back on at the end, I'm always thrilled with the result. When I'm in Marco's chair, I always feel comfortable and confident I'm getting the haircut I wanted. Warmly recommended. read more

If you want the best craftsmanship, best artistry, and best hairline in town you have to come to exclusive blends. I get cut by Milan and he is an artist with the clippers. Top 2 and he ain't 2! I'd recommend him 10/10 because he takes time to perfect your hair the exact way you want. Nice suite with tasteful decor and color. And there is a parking garage connected to the suite so it's easy to find parking. read more

I had tried a few places since relocating from the shangri-la of Philadelphia; none of which were that bad (but not great either), all of which were expensive. I mean like 2-3x what I paid in the 215th. $70 for a clipper cut...come on, fam. So, I was still on the lookout for the Bethesdan home base. I saw Sinatra's situated right across the street from one of my Bethesda favs, The Writer's Center, and thought I'd give that a try next. It was a good call. The space is clean, and professionally put together. Check. I was getting ye ol' tighten up from "Q". Star Trek reference, I think not. Super chill. Super professional. Didn't rush through the job, and it was (and is) an excellent cut. With a men's haircut you also get a wash...from a most expert washer. It was more like a dang head massage...awesome. (Btw, tip your washer). And if you need a cherry on top, they were spinning some old school hip-hop. All of this brought me to $50 (plus tip). Sinatra's, for me, is an absolute no brainer. I will most definitely be a return customer. Maybe I'll see ya there!
