Geoff seems compelled to make sure every single one is in its proper place. I cannot recommend this establishment enough. Every single haircut I have seen performed there, without exception, looks phenomenal. It doesn't matter whether you are a 47-year-old man fighting follicular decline like myself, or a 6-year-old who cannot decide which chair cloth he likes best. Hot towel shaves are ON POINT and while Vin is my barber, Pete the owner is a hell of a barber and it's easy to see his standards are shared and upheld by his staff. You walk in and you're greeted by vintage barbershop decor, which I dig a lot and no matter what they all stop to say hello and they're always quick to ask if you need a bottle of water or an espresso. I can say pretty confidently that you probably didn't get Fuji or espresso back in the 30's & '40s lol so I'd call it an old school feel with a modern spin. For the life of me I still can't figure out their business model even when televised sports were prevalent. I like to get a haircut and get the hell out, not watch three periods of Rangers hockey. But whatever, it's a gimmick and it sounded fun on the radio so who am I to argue. Back to the haircut. It was terrific. Some chains will give you a drive-by buzz in two minutes hoping the chair doesn't get cold. Sport Clips spent the time to do it right and even trimmed the nape of my neck so no werewolf mullet for me after three days. A professional cut and a nice place. An easy five stars.
