My son went in for his first massage. He had slept wrong and had a kink in his neck. He was seen by Rebekah. He had the 90 minute massage with some kind of scalp treatment (I forgot the name). He came out and reported that the massage was great. He relayed all of the different techniques that Rebekah had utilized and that the pain in his neck was indeed much better. I have my first massage at Elevations Massage with Shantel. I was in a rear end accident in March 2023, and my back was all knotted up and hurting. Shantel listened to where the pain or problem area was, and what I wanted to get out of the session. OMG y'all!!! So, I used to get massages on the regular...pre-COVID. I have wanted to get back in and get a good massage but with COVID protocols, moving to Cali and then Texas and not knowing where to go and then just life happening....it just didn't happen. At work they gave us a Creative Refresh Day off and I decided this was the day to find a place and go for it! Prisila got me in on short notice. She was very professional in her communication before, during and even after the process. She asked me about problem areas and my history with massages and how they impacted me in the past and then she jumped right in...and OMG!!! I didn't realize how much tension I have been carrying with me over the past several months (and years honestly). I didn't realize how many "health issues" that I have been having this year (trick knee, stiff Achilles tendon, difficulty breathing, overall tension, etc) were muscle related. As soon as she started working on my back I felt pain and pressure release all over body and in places that she hadn't even touched! She worked on a knot in each shoulder and I could feel the tension release straight down my legs and out my body!
