I then took my mini Cooper into them two weeks ago to fix an oil leak and they forgot to replace my struts which caused the noise which was one of the reasons I brought it in. When I went back to ask about it the guy said they forgot and bring it back in and it would be $125. The next day I brought it in and when I picked it up he told me it was $195 and he was only charging me for parts. That was line number one. When I drove off the noise was still there and even worse than before and when I called to complain I was told I needed another car put underneath the car and I asked him what the hell I paid $200 in the first place if that wasn't gonna fix the problem that I initially reported. These guys are shit and dishonest and I will never go there again and I will continue to tell people that they need to stay away from them.

Honestly, a little disappointed this last trip to Import Palace. I'd been a customer here for…read morenearly 10yrs. Had a new set of new heads put on my 91' 2.1 Vanagon. They did the work, and it ran fine, for a few days. Then came the sub-zero temperatures in Missoula. Being my daily-driver, I had to go to work. It started and I let it idle for a while. Then the oil pressure alarm came on and so I shut it down. Blew the oil cooler seal. Towed it back to shop. New seal, oil, and filter. On my way back to work from shop, engine seized. Called Import Palace. I was told by John that he's done all he can, that he didn't want to do the job in the first place, and not to have it towed back to his shop. What you don't see is, how I had to fight to obtain a loan to fix it in the first place. My only vehicle. Now,I'll be paying back a loan for the next few years and absolutely nothing to show for it! Where it goes from here,I am lost, but it's not going back to Import Palace!

I contacted them and stated I believed it was the valve cover gasket. They replaced the gasket. It did not fix my problem. i went through 6 quarts of oil in 5 days. Took my Juke back to them and asked for them to diagnose why my vehicle was leaking and from where. When they called me to pick up my car, I was charged $85.00 and was told that they don't know where it's leaking from. Maybe the main seal, maybe the timing cover. I was told to take it to the Nissan dealer for repairs. I spent over $200.00, and not only is my issue is not only not fixed, but they are also unable to tell me what the issue is. I asked them, "why am I being charged $85.00 for a diagnosis when you are unable to diagnose the problem?" Their reply, "well we had to drive it and clean the oil up." I WILL NEVER TAKE MY VEHICLE THERE AGAIN. I told them that as well and am telling everyone I can about the very disappointing experience I had with them. They could have put it in the air and revved the motor to get it to leak, or maybe put some dye in the oil to see where it was leaking. They chose to do nothing but drive it, clean the oil and charge me. That's $220 I could have used to repair my car. I do not have the money to just throw it away. Now it will be another couple of weeks until I get paid again before I can even find out what the problem is. Thanks so much for taking my money and not helping me at all. YOU SUCK!

I messed up and went to an auto shop named CLUNKER auto, my BIG and FIRST mistake. -I paid them upfront for labor and part, with a month to complete the job. -late by a week to complete so had to rent a hotel with no compensation. -broke AGAIN after 5 min of driving. -no communication of new transmission process -they took another 9 weeks holding onto truck and didn't repair because they did not want to pay for their own labor even under the so called "warantee" they gave me. -had truck towed to another mechanic because they wouldn't refund or fix my transmission. -new mechanic said the transmission clunker auto installed was incorrect, hazardous and barely holding on. SO DANGEROUS, new mechanic had to charge me for hazardous vehicle. -they were ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!! unorganized, terrible customer service, never open during business hours when they said they would. If you DO use them, use a credit card so you can cancel the charge if they try to take advantage of you like they did me.
