Charged me 50 bucks to give me a rediculous quote. Do not recommend. Was not made aware of any fees invovled looking at the car.

Alvin asked me, "Why don't you just have a new key made? Keys can get worn down. Have a new key made, and if that doesn't work, come back." I had a new key made, and everything was fine. When I moved to Montana in 2006, I continued to use Unique for repairs, maintenance, pre-travel checks, and for pre-purchase checks on vehicles I was considering buying, whether from private people or a dealership. I eventually bought two Jeeps, a 1996 Cherokee Grand Loredo from a private sale in 2013 (which I'm still driving), and a 2006 Commander in 2014 from Lithia Missoula. Service advisors Alvin and Amos are Jeep certified, as are the Unique mechanics. They do better work than Lithia in MIssoula and Twin Falls, and I don't have to worry about getting ripped off. In 2015, I bought a 2013 Dodge Dart. Unique services all my vehicles. Now that my daughters are grown, they take their vehicles to Unique, too. Today is 26 March 2021, and the only time I take my vehicles anywhere else is if I need service when I'm out of town. Alvin and Amos are honest, their mechanics do the job right, and they won't rip off a woman.

My old PT Cruiser had been having transmission issues…read morefor a while, and Brett was candid about my options during my initial discussion with them. We went ahead with a transaxle rebuild because of its poor driving quality when I brought it in, and then spent the next two months dealing with one issue after another, trying to find the right parts (because old PT Cruiser), trying to outsmart an onboard computer that had clearly lost its mind, basically everything that Murphy's Law could throw at this vehicle. Throughout it all, Brett and his guys absolutely went out of their way to be super fair, understanding, and communicative every step of the way. In the end, there was one issue that they weren't able to diagnose, again being very upfront about it, and Brett had me do a testdrive with them to see if it was acceptable or if I wanted them to keep working on it. Since the car was running WAY better than before I'd brought it in, I gave them my stamp of approval. This could easily have been a very negative situation, but because of how reasonable and professional Brett and his team were, I'll continue to rely on them for anything related to any transmission going forward!

For starters, they went above and…read morebeyond the "call of duty" to fit my repair into their schedule so I wouldn't be without my pickup for long in view of the huge expense of my having to rent a car. In addition, Brett made the process less stressful with his kindness and humor. This is the second time I've had this same repair done. The first time, it was done at a different shop. After that repair, the pickup was a little difficult in shifting (a 5-speed manual transmission), but slowly smoothed out; but after about 3 - 4 years, the same problem started to show up again! Looking back on it, I wasn't confident with that first repair, thinking I shouldn't have occasional rough shifting afterwards. Now, this second time around, the shifting is as smooth and solid as it was when I bought the vehicle. I know it was done right! Thank you Brett and everyone! You certainly have a loyal customer here, and I would highly recommend Jerry's to anyone.

A Plus Automotive - Thought it would be quite slow and expensive to repair. Done in fee hours and way under budget!

This is the second time I've stopped by, I've been looking for a good mechanic in town that won't treat me differently just because I'm a girl. I finally found A Plus Automotive and asked about my AC for my car. Got a quote, and eventually made the appointment. They were quick to get me some cool air again, and kept very close to the original quote they gave me. They also went above and beyond in the little things. My cars back bumper had been falling off and I had paid another mechanic (in my search) to fix it only for it to break again quickly. They reattached the bumper for me without me asking and I also noticed they cleaned off the dashboard from dust. Small things yes, but to me they were big things and showed that they pay attention to detail and take pride in their work. Thanks you so much guys! I'll definitely be coming back with my future car needs. Edit: they just propped the bumper on and it fell off pretty soon after.

I then took my mini Cooper into them two weeks ago to fix an oil leak and they forgot to replace my struts which caused the noise which was one of the reasons I brought it in. When I went back to ask about it the guy said they forgot and bring it back in and it would be $125. The next day I brought it in and when I picked it up he told me it was $195 and he was only charging me for parts. That was line number one. When I drove off the noise was still there and even worse than before and when I called to complain I was told I needed another car put underneath the car and I asked him what the hell I paid $200 in the first place if that wasn't gonna fix the problem that I initially reported. These guys are shit and dishonest and I will never go there again and I will continue to tell people that they need to stay away from them.
