What was supposed to be an eventful day for my guests turned to catastrophe…read more Eclectic Events failed to set up on time, failed to hire enough staff, and failed to clean up the party. And that is only the beginning of the nightmare we experienced. Not enough food for our 30 guests when we ordered food for 50...the flowers never arrived...and after crying, I was left with gossip from the party goers that I put on horrible parties. I will never believe yelp. Eclectic had to have paid people to write nice things. The party for my husbands new job and employees was just awful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then Cindy with Eclectic Events is your planner. Cindy accompanied us throughout the entire process from meeting with vendors and making sure we weren't taken advantage of. Though all our vendors were great, the added experience of Cindy ensured a positive wedding planning experience. She covered all the minuscule details and our agenda was kept on track! From the girls hair and makeup, to the grooms haircuts, limousine pick ups, church photos, the various photographers involved, and the time schedule for the reception events including our sunset pictures, everything went off flawless! Cindy stayed in contact with us the entire wedding process. She might have drive some vendors crazy, but she knew what she was doing and looked out for us, her clients. Overall, Cindy was very professional and very gay friendly. She didn't make us feel different not once! We are grateful for kind-hearted professionals like Cindy. Her ideas and contacts are amazing! She was the Knots top wedding coordinator for the past few years so we couldn't wait. We hired her very early on in the process one year and a half to be exact because we wanted to be stress free and we wanted things to be taken care of which she seemed like she would do that for us. However during that year and a half little did we know that nothing would really be getting taken care of . In our meetings with her she would constantly assure us that things were fine however we saw no real result of things being "taken care of" no venues were booked there was no money being put down to any vendor . My wife and I were the ones who were making the phone calls to ask for prices , setting up meetings with vendors we wanted and so much more we were doing . This was the reason we hired a wedding coordinator was to handle these things for us . The meetings after a while seemed to be pointless . We found out no information about our wedding from the meetings we would have with her . She was Also never able to give us an exact quote or even an estimate of how much our decor would be which she was also in charge of. It was extremely hard to get ahold of her . She would take days to respond to texts, phone calls , and emails. Finally when we did get a price from her for her decor ONLY she quoted us $22,000. Which we at the time did not know any better and did not know that her decor prices were extremely over priced . The decor we had picked out was decent it was not top of the line it did not look like it was 22,000 worth . We had to take many many things out of our wedding that we had originally dreamed of having and it was beginning to not feel like the wedding we wanted . We began to question what she had exactly done for us this past year and a half as far as "planning " and taking care of things for us. Our wedding is only 5 months away and she has only made two deposits with the money we had been giving her . We had been giving Victoria thousands to hold for us and distribute our money to the proper vendors and only a few hundred had been distributed . Mind you we are 5 months away from our wedding . As we began to get suspicious of her pricing and intentions for our wedding we decided to look around and get other decor pricing . We found an amazing lady in Sanger Ca who would give us everything we wanted for about $14,000 LESS. How is that possible that she was going to charge us $22,000 for decor not including food, not including her planning services , etc. just $22,000 for decor . Yet we looked around and added everything we originally wanted and dreamed of and found it all for $8,000? It seemed to us that we were buying her decor for her and not renting it . I had also made it crystal clear in the beginning that I did not want a church wedding . And come to find out later that Victoria put a $500 deposit of our money down for a church for our wedding .... I was mind blown. No one ever told her to do that we did NOT GIVE HER PERMISSION TO PUT A deposit down with our money for a church . she clearly was not listening to our needs and wants and doing what she felt was best for us . We did in the end up parting ways with her and got all of the money back we had been giving to her besides the $3500 we owed her she kept that which we also felt was wrong considering she did not do one bit of the planning . We are now 5 months away from our wedding and are now scrambling to do all of the things victoria said she would "take care" of . She really tried to take advantage of us by charging us $14,00 more than what she should have. She is unreliable and unprofessional . She did things with our money we DID NOT approve of . I would recommend you run as far away as possible from her and her company if you want your wedding to be a success . Do not let her fool you . As we are fans of "Game of…read moreThrones" I asked if they have done it before.... well they hadn't even heard or seen the show but with their perseverance and diligence they binge watched the show fast forwarded just to get the gist of it and produced great results... it truly was a theatre production. Our guests were wowed and really impressed. We felt so proud of the team. We hope to remain their clients for all our future events. Victoria and her husband are not only sweet, kind & efficient but genuinely very nice people who care so much about delivering good ambiance and go beyond anyone's expectations just to give a little extra surprise. We were so very grateful to the team, they made our life so much easier. I am a bit of a perfectionist myself and get very anxious but Victoria gave me her word and kept her promise. We totally had the greatest time at our party. Best money ever spent for a lovely relaxing fun party!!

My family is blended with two different cultures so things can get complicated. She gave me a follow up plan for our next meeting and let me know what was needed from me. As time permitted we spoke, texted, and face timed all the details. She gave me real time pricing and not one detail was spared. The venu, restaurant, decor, and all details discussed were completely present the day and time of the event. The whole thing went smoothly a she adjusted to all the cultural details with ease. My event was upscale and just magical. She arrived ready to work and made it look easy!

I never met Tuly in person because I was in Texas while working on my wedding in California, but that did not impact our communication or the wedding at all. The process was so structured (which I absolutely need) and the website Tuly used to was extremely helpful. As for Charley, WOW. Let's just say my entire wedding party and guests know who Charley is because she went above and beyond!!!!! For the initial venue visit with ELE, Charley came and took notes for me. From the beginning, Charley was wonderful. She is very personable and so easy to get along with. She always arrived before the scheduled time (which eased my anxiety a lot) and started on time with everything. On wedding day, same thing. She addressed questions for guests/wedding party to not interfere with me getting ready. She was so prepared and on top of it. There is nothing Charley did not do! She wasn't paid to decorate, she wasn't paid to serve and cut pie, she wasn't paid to offer water to everyone, she wasn't paid to pour champagne, etc etc etc. But Charley did it ALL!!!! Thank you so much Charley for being so perfect and the Charley that every girl needs on her wedding day. You are such a great person and remember, EVERYONE loved Charley!!!!
