Clean, comfortable, quiet and a very rustic feel the owners have done a great job on the place. Gary and Paula, the managers, did a great job of making us feel at home. There isn't much around. We brought dinner with us (micro wave in room) and enjoyed dinner with a view after a nice swim in the pool. You have the option of renting one room at a time or the whole thing, depending on how large of a group you have. The Chaparrel Ranch has free range chickens and ducks as well as a pen of goats. You may also encounter the steer that roam the surrounding pastures. There are togo bags ready with a breakfast option at the front desk if you are rushing out. The area is big and has a fireplace also with big couches. They have hand sani and wipies within reach at every floor, what a way to go above and beyond for us. The do not disturb pet door signs are adorable. Inside the elevator, they have a list of things to do while you're in town. I recommend the Frontier Texas! center on your way out of town.
