The beds were comfortable, with a variety of pillows to choose from (I like a softer one, so this is huge to me!) Shower water pressure was fine - that's not a given, so it was appreciated. The breakfasts were great - we stayed for 4 nights and every morning, we found a nice variety every morning. The cookies at check in and every afternoon were a nice homey touch - I feel like I might have to start keeping a roll of Nestle chocolate chip cookie dough in my fridge from now on. The thing that made this place special, though, were the folks at the front desk. Every single one of them were the kindest, most friendly people. They were great talkers, great listeners, and they treated us (especially my elderly parents) like we were the most important guests at the hotel. It turns out that several of the reunion attendees were staying at AmericInn - I think everyone had the same experience of kindness and compassion. In a world that can be rough to navigate, these lovely people smoothed out a little piece of the journey for us, and there aren't enough good things to say about them. The officer came but said they have the right to refuse anybody. They say their employees are specifically trained for such problems. Really?
