JWB Rental Homes - Virtually staged apartment for rent in Jacksonville

Got to my apartment, and it had never been cleaned. My windows do not lock properly, had to run my water for 2 days non stop, no screens or blinds on any window. My door has a huge gap in it, so the cockroaches that are in every apartment come through my door. Any maintenance request you put in, they put a bandaid on it and don't fix it properly. But then they will bill you because the problem isn't there. My newest neighbor just moved in with her kids... and her unit is already flooding from an existing problem they knew about from the previous tenants leaving the place. Now there is mold in the walls, and all of us are dealing with the headache... even though JWB gutted the apartment 2 months ago for flooding damage.

The second and only suitable property was a condo it was nice and looked like the pictures. The third house i drove to on the other side of town had no lock box, so it was a complete waste of time. After the first house i realized they were using the same pictures for different listings, which is very deceptive! The next two houses were so run down and looked nothing like the photos i just kept driving. The last and final house was ok but there was a group of teens outside squaring up to fight, very unsettling! Updated review as i misunderstood the remote working qualifications.

Herron Real Estate - The horrible real estate agent representing the seller.

DO NOT BUY OR SELL THROUGH THIS BROKERAGE…read more I am a buyer and this firm was representing the seller. We agreed on terms, went through the inspection and appraisal process, and were set to close this last Friday. On Tuesday evening, Natalia Vaughn with Herron (selling agent) called my agent to tell us "the seller has no funds to bring to closing". This means they agreed on terms almost a month prior that they could not fulfill. The selling agent obviously didn't get a loan payoff, didn't advise her clients what they were agreeing to financially, and didn't guide them through the process properly. On top of all this, when the seller gave me a tour of the home he informed me that the selling agent (Natalia Vaughn) was a relative of his or his wife which was never disclosed on any paperwork. After finding out they didn't have the money, I proposed that I would pay a few extra thousand to come to a compromise and requested the selling agent also lower her commission since it was close to 8k and she was representing her family. She flat out refused. She didn't propose any solution to the issue. Just threw her hands up like "oh well". Because of this, I am now out $1300 between inspection and appraisal fees and my only recourse to get the money back would be to take her clients to small claims court. On top of all this, it also cost me extra money to push my current lease for another month or two while I find a different house. Highly suggest using a different firm as there are many great ones out there. This is just not one of them.

I recently received a call from David Herron, the broker/owner of Herron Real Estate, regarding my…read morereview on google. Instead of asking how the experience could've been improved, the entire call was focused on getting me to remove my review. No apology. No accountability. He even mentioned I could be sued for breach of contract because I didn't accept an offer--something that felt more like intimidation than professionalism. I explained that my issue was based on ethics and how I felt the agent, Natalia Vaughn, crossed boundaries into personal matters that weren't her place. David defended her actions and made it clear their priority is just selling homes--not how clients are treated in the process. That says a lot about the leadership and company values. Even after all this, I received a response this morning to a simple closing date question--with another random copy of my divorce paperwork attached. Completely unnecessary and unprofessional. You wouldn't believe I hired her. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Natalia Vaughn or Herron Real Estate. Lack of professionalism, and zero accountability from top to bottom.

And who could blame us - it isn't a small committment afterall, along with search after search, finding the right perfect place, the legalese, closing - it is not for the feint of heart. This was to be it. We needed the perfect realtor. There are so many out there. We called and met many - some good, some not so good, but never great. We were about to give up when I got in touch with Chad Harris of Coldwell Banker, Vanguard Realty, Inc. We connected. I can't tell you exactly why, but he listened. What a difference that small detail makes. From then on I'm not going to tell you it wasn't without its stressful moments, but Chad was always there with the right sound and honest advice. It wasn't always what I wanted to hear, but always on point. It is so important to make decisions based on the honest facts, along with the unbiased professional opinion when asked. This cannot be overstated. We found a home that matched every one of our wants and needs - the One! so-to-speak. I called him, long-distance, and on a Sunday no doubt. He made it happen. From offer to close it was about 4-5 weeks. A few stressful moments, but overall relatively smooth and we are extremely happy. I would like to tell you that our experience is typical in homebuying, regardless, there is no way it would have went the way it did without Chad Harris. He has truly raised the standard for what a home buying venture should be, talked me down when I needed it, the advice, the guidance, the professionalism, there is nobody I would trust more in buying or selling a home. Truly the hardest working person in real estate. Excited beyond words to begin our new chapter.

He helped my sister and I get top dollar for our childhood home that we had inherited from out father. He met with us and explain our options and what we needed to do to the property to get what it was worth. It took no time at all to get a bid and sell the home. Thanks Chad for making what could have been a sad experience (selling our childhood home) into an extremely happy and exciting one.
