The cheese stuffed crepe with black truffles... it was suffocated under a blizzard of parmesan. So it became a salted dry mess. I got my fork and tried to snow shovel the grated cheese away, but it had perminated the crepe. Inedible! The wife who loves lots of Parmesan agreed when she asked to have a taste. The dessert was forgettable. As in I forgot what it was. Maybe my tastebuds packed in by then. We got the wine pairing, which was good with generous pours. However when red is served at the same temperature as white. It's tasteless. Only one accident here though. Perhaps the quick chill was forgotten and it turned into a longer ice cold chill by mistake. But with the food mistakes it had to be mentioned. After all we paid a pretty penny to eat here. 2.5 stars. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was nice. Shame about some of the food.

I loved the burger and the accompanying fries, and even the side salad was good. Across our table, we must have gotten every dish on the brunch menu, and everyone was extremely happy with their food. The ingredients tasted very fresh, and the chef made some interesting and unexpected flavor combinations. So why only three stars? This place had the most horrendously rude service I've ever experienced in Brussels, and that's a high bar. We were yelled at collectively as a group, because we ended up having three extra people show up. Organizing big group events is hard enough without a server yelling at you, and they seemed very upset to have the extra business of three people. Several of us were yelled at separately, me for being in the server's way while waiting in line to pay, another for asking the status of the coffee she'd been waiting 20 minutes for, and several others for various things that should not have been issues at all. There were a few cases where the servers mixed up the orders or brought out dishes nobody had ordered, and they got mad at our table for that as well. Despite the inexcusable service, I would still consider going back, either by myself or maybe with one other person, in hopes that we would get better treatment. The food was that good.
