we order from here all the time on our lunch break. I ordered 3 combos with one being wet lemon pepper whole wings. When I got back to work and tasted the wings it was definitely not wet lemon pepper but like it was mixed with garlic Parmesan. I left work on my 15 min break to return the order and was told that it was wet lemon pepper and my taste buds were wrong basically. He wanted to go back and forth with me about what I tasted when clearly u could see the difference in the two flavors. Refused to fix the order or refundmy money back. This food was disgusting. The ranch was expired and the cheese was expired. The chicken tasted like It was killed twice. There was seemingly no seasoning in the cheese ranch fries, But it was burning our throats. Even the side cup of ranch was absolutely nasty. We couldn't finish anything. read more

Sometimes, this place is a hit or miss when it comes to there wings. Every now and then, they'll have big enough wings to have some left over for the next day or small ones that you'll round up being hungry again later in the day. I wouldn't recommend stopping here to get food on a late Friday and Saturday night since the drive thru be pretty back up. As for the food, there wings are good and I usually get Cajun ranch fries, but they need to hold off on putting too much ranch dressing on the fries. Now, I can say is that they have some really good fried corn nuggets and if you never had one before from here, you're missing out on something good. read more

If you have a taste for wings or fried fish, this place had what you need. Nothing exceptional about-it just satisfies. They have a variety of wing flavors and you can mix em (half teriyaki/half lemon pepper). They fry fry whiting and catfish. Fries? Yep, regular, cajun or drizzled in ranch dressing. All meals come with a side salad (gotta balance out all the fried food ya know?). The hot sauce packets suck-they should put bottles of real hot sauce on table. Location is not the cleanest but i expect that from a lil hole in the wall -it kinda adds to the experience. Growing up we called them "greasy spoons"- dirty but the food is so good til ya dont care (well...you care a lil bit but it won't usually stop you-lol). Prices are reasonable. Portions are hefty. They also cater-you can order a platter of 1000 wings-WTH? And I think it costs only $60 bucks. Kids review: loved the teriyaki, lemon pepper and mild hot wings. Grilled cheese was good but fries over seasoned. Ranch fries got a 50/50. Adults: fried whiting a bit fishy. Catfish excellent. Cajun fries great. Worth checking out. read more

I already loved their flavor wings fried hard but I tried their chicken fingers and this is one of the only fast food restaurant I will get my chicken fingers from now on. Well not much to say about here besides it is the best wing spot to come to. First off, the parking is a little small and depending where you park it could be very difficult to leave especially on a busy night. The interior is a little rough but because its been there for so long its somewhat passable. Service is half and half, you might get someone whos aggressive and someone who is nicer than others. Overall the area and service are a little mediocre and at times can be very rough. But let me tell you about the food here. This will always be my go to place for wings because between the size of the chicken and the sauce they dont skimp on I always enjoy them! The food is really tasty and filling not to forget the pricing is pretty reasonable to match. I tend to always get every flavor because whatever you like will be plenty of it. Most wing places are very light on sauce and the wings are as tiny as my pinky finger but here they barely hold back. Honestly one of my favorite wing spots in bham since I went to school at UAB. I graduated three years ago, but whenever I'm in town and I want wings this is where I go... Why you ask? Well for one I hate chain restaurants, they rarely meet your expectations for what you pay with portions and quality. I'm not a snob, I understand what dreamland is I know its not Saw's (if you don't know what this is, then you haven't really experienced bhams food offerings), but I know what I'm getting... solid food for a somewhat reasonable price. But at Exotic wings I get great wings I go lemon pepper or the ranch wings. Cheap and great portions and the fries are solid too. The wings are consistent and I don't have to pay ridiculous prices and I still get great wings. And on top of that they're always open. Idk a better more cost effective wing spot in DT Bham. This was by far one of the worst experiences of my life! I ordered the hot dog combo (#30). The hot dogs were so tough and old! I was hungry...so, I managed to eat one. The fries were under cooked. The meal was cold when I got it...we ordered carry out....and, brought it literally less than a mile to eat! My friend had the philly cheese steak. Which was the size of a hot dog...and, even he had trouble eating the meat! On a brighter note....another friend ordered the philly combo... hers turned out to be really good!! Just a word of advice....when your hot dogs look leathery....throw them out and make fresh ones! I won't waste my time ever again. read more

This place fore me is always really good or really mediocre. The country wings are always hot and fresh but not always seasoned well which makes me opt for one of their varieties of wings with sauce most times... I like the lemon pepper with hot sauce and they are good as long as you eat them hot. They don't reheat well. Their fries are typical but they do have really good fried green tomatoes. One of my favorite places to get wings in Birmingham (There and American deli). I've moved and came home for the holidays and this place was my first stop! I always get a wing combo with the lava sauce, ranch fries, and the fruit punch. It always seems so comforting to me. I will say that the last time I ate their wings they weren't as spicy as I remember. They were kind of bland. But based off of overall experience there, I'll still give them 4 stars. read more

I placed an order on June 5th, midday, for delivery at 5pm that same day, through GRUBHUB, for a family whose father was having cancer surgery on that day. I gave very detailed instructions as to the food AND the delivery. I was polite about it. I even tipped extra, hoping THAT would at least get my directives followed. NOPE. To no avail. NO ONE paid any attention to anything I wrote down. Nothing. They even DELIVERED the order TO MY RESIDENCE!! I did a follow-up with the family as to the quality of the food they received. When I found out the results, I called and asked to speak with a manager. I was extremely irate. The 'manager' told me to call the owner on Monday and complain about it-- just prior to hanging up in my face. I wanted this family to be able to relax during this extremely stressful time period for them. This whole experience was a total disaster. If I could have given a score of ZERO, I would have.
