Same thing when a plumber fixed my toilet without any bum crack showing. So I was amazed when I realized I have been working from this place every single day for over a year now and hadn't stopped to review it. Let's make this wrong a right, no? The best way for me to summarize Link is it's a place for grownups to come to work every day. By grown up, I mean in mentality, not age -- the people here are serious, kind, hardworking, compassionate, creative, and welcoming business owners that all thrive on productivity, flexibility, and a healthy dose of order. Before settling on Link, I toured a few other co-working joints in town and have come to the conclusion that co-working spaces fall into a variety of categories: 1.) Places where you can probably also buy weed, in addition to co-work. Nothing wrong with that if it's your thing. Just not mine. 2.) Places that are downtown and beautiful and fancy, but involve death by commuting, and also paying for a parking contract. 3.) Small houses on the east side, also really cool and inviting. I just don't have a fixed gear bike and enough kale chips in my pockets to feel at home. Still love you, my patchouli-loving gang of hippie coworkers. Liz and team run a tight ship, by which I mean she keeps the place clean, well maintained, welcoming, and professional -- with just the right amount of casual fun. I read the one-star review where someone complained about rules, and I can honestly say that the entire Link community does expect our co-working coworkers to be able to handle a basic set of rules -- and help keep the place profitable and sustainable by paying extremely reasonable fees for using the really nice resources put in place for us. Also, no food stealers, please. If you are looking for a place to steal sandwiches, you won't thrive here. A quick (and unofficial) test for if you will love Link, by me: Do you microwave fish every day for lunch? (Yes or No?) If you answered No, you will automatically love Link. No fish microwaving allowed. Link is made even better by tons of great places to eat within walking distance, a great coffee shop practically next door, a vibrant community of awesome professionals, and the Alamo freaking Drafthouse just steps away (just in case you sign a big deal and need to celebrate with a pint and a daytime monster invasion B-movie). Join the Link crew, you won't regret it. Unless you steal sandwiches. Then you will regret it big time.

Link Coworking was a perfect fit for us. Easy to book. Clean cozy rooms. Lots of amenities that I…read moredidn't expect (AFTERNOON COOKIES). Who: A coworker and I need a space for training. What: We needed a monitor and a private space to chat, in close proximity to lunch places. Where: We live in Cedar Park and Round Rock. There's no spaces that were worthy of our presence in the area so we chose Link. When: We booked this about a week out. Chose a room and whabam. Got some work done. Why: Why not! The only cons was that the room with the red chairs got REALLY uncomfortable after about 3 hours. We would have loved to have a private space with standup desks. And .. I wish the trash was emptied daily. I made the mistake of throwing take-out food in the trash. BOOO..

To give some background on Industrious - it's a standard co-working setup similar to any WeWork with a long laundry list of amenities (although I've heard WeWork has recently cut back...). This includes morning bagels, all the caffeine you need, as well as 3 - 4 events a week that include standard happy hours, etc. Unlike WeWork, the atmosphere is a little more mature. If WeWork was a person, it'd be a right-out-of college grad that jams out to the EDM in the lobby. Industrious feels a little more like someone in their late 20s / early 30s that puts on elevator music or slow jazz in the lobby. Personally, WeWork felt perfect for a Silicon-Valley startup trying to drive that growth mentality, while Industrious felt better suited for a small professional services firm that would wear business casual to entertain clients on a regular basis. The pricing is comparable to other coworking spaces both in terms of membership and office space, although their membership options were somewhat restricted to keep the density manageable. Again, many thanks to Margaret and Andi who were always extremely on top of everything administrative and space-related - you can't go wrong with them having your back!

Came here for some day pass work ($25/day). Overall, lovely space with polite and efficient staff…read morelocated on the 4th floor of the Jacinto Center. It has a nice quiet energy to it; just bustling enough to not feel like a you're at silent meditation retreat, but also not disruptively rambunctious. For day passes and general membership, there's a main lounge area with most of the seating that includes floor-to-ceiling windows looking out over a courtyard. There's more seating of various types sprinkled through the floor, including some with views of the river. At least three 'phone booths', but by 'booth', it's actually a small room with a phone that can fit two people easily, probably four if you did standing room only. The etiquette in the main spaces is that it's okay to take calls and such, and the overhead music isn't so loud as to disrupt. That said, the other little seating spaces nestled in the hallways might be better if you need more privacy but don't want to get into a phone booth. Lots of private office space of various sizes if you were interested in that. WiFi was trusty and much of the seating had adequate power outlets though the more lounge-style seating (sofas, etc.) seemed to lack good outlet access. The usual free coffee and tea. They let me stay a bit after 5pm, after they closed, even though I was on a day pass, so that was a nice touch. One final nice touch is that the chairs and tables in the main areas are fairy low. I'm not a tall person and sometimes coworking spaces value aesthetics over ergonomics and I end up in a short chair and a high table, typing like a T-Rex. Not the case here. Bathrooms: Clean, spacious, and functional. Nicely done!

We had a new person on our team that needed training. Since she was very close to having her baby,…read moreI felt it was better if she did not travel to San Antonio to train. We looked all around Austin to find a place that met our needs and settled on TechSpace. We called them to reserve some space and found out that they don't do that unless it was one of their private rooms. The other spaces are "first come", but the price was right. The employees were extremely nice and helpful. They gave us a tour of the facilities, explained how everything worked, showed us the kitchen, coffee, snacks, etc, and showed us the private rooms where you can get all your AV needs for your meetings. They fixed us up with WIFI, which was very fast, and let us choose where we wanted in the lower floor area. We ended up with an area that could have handled about 8 people, but was perfect for our needs. We liked this place enough that we have been back for multiple days of training. They don't have restaurants in the building, but they offer different food trucks each day. The trucks set up in the side area of the building and have some outside seating if you want to eat outside. We have eaten everything from downhome Southern cooking to Mexican, and they were all good. What kept this from being a 5 star location. Parking is a pain (may be that way all over downtown Austin) and locating this place the first time was difficult. Traffic was a pain also, but they can't do anything about that. Would I recommend this place? I will be back!!!
