Everything went smoothly, from the welcome at the airport and the transfer to the hotel, to the hospitality, accommodation, delicious food options, friendly staff, the location and facilities. Of course, the highlight was the day with Onçafari. Our guide and driver were superb, and thanks to their expertise and dedication, we got the chance to see - but not disturb - two of the collared adult females, one with her cubs, and one uncollared adult male. It was an awe-inspiring experience, and so important to be able to support this vital initiative. Thank you to Amazon Adventures for setting it all up.

Denise has a lot of event planning experience and was very good at helping us navigate all of the parts and details of the service and celebration including reviewing potential vendor contracts and making sure small things were handled with care. She was connected to vendors in the community and was able to make recommendations and reservations for us when we were not sure where to hold the party, have a rehearsal dinner or decorate our home for the party. We also had to make last-minute changes due to COVID and she handled the new direction in stride! In addition, Javier was an excellent server and also very experienced in the hotel industry; he picked out foods for the event that were sensibly priced, delicious and appropriate. After the event, Denise and Javier stuck around to help clean up and make sure we could relax and not worry about breaking down the chairs and tables for the party.
