They provided the photo example of what we should have received. Instead, they gave us 4 same-color balloon bunches tied together at the knot with no strings. Additionally, we wanted them delivered at 4:00 PM, Zunzun Lux Events went behind our back and arranged a 12:00 PM delivery with the event venue and then showed up at 11:18 AM to deliver. Not ethical. Not professional. We messaged them and are still waiting for a response to refund our money. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

We had Deirdre and from our first meeting with her she didn't have any wedding ideas or visions. She basically went through a timeline and asked a bunch of questions, most of which we couldn't answer because my daughter has never had a wedding before. We hired a planner to do just that, help plan and guide us. We had a bad feeling about Deirdre and contacted Blush hoping they would give us someone else. They stood behind her. I wish we pushed it because our concerns showed up on the wedding day. Deirdre was hardly around at all during the entire wedding. Apparently she had an assistant whom we never met or saw. There should have been three people from Blush for a large wedding. We communicated to her that the couple wanted to attend the cocktail party doing photos before so that could happen. Deirdre escorted them to a room for a private cocktail time, which was nice, however she never went back to get them. They finally left on their own with little time to visit with guests. My daughter kept looking over her shoulder for Deirdre, as she witnessed during her friends weddings their planners were at the brides hip most of the time. During the ceremony she wasn't behind the bride to fix her dress before walking down the aisle. It was off to the side for the pictures. Worst bride nightmare! After picking out a perfect train and veil to have it crumbled up walking down the aisle. She also didn't come the rehearsal so Blush should have replaced her then with the planner who did, as that Is part of the reason things went wrong. Things happen so I understand her not being able to make the rehearsal, however there should have been someone at the wedding who did make it to the rehearsal. This totally falls on Blush. Deirdre gave the band and the DJ the wrong opening songs. We were never introduced to the catering manager, which I shouldn't have needed, but our table was out of water and wine during most of dinner and we had to get up and find a server because I couldn't find Deirdre. She should have pointed out the host table to the manager at least. The cake was cut and served on a side table but she didn't tell the band to announce it so the majority of the cake went to waste. We extended the after party and the bus to take people back to the hotel's till 12:45. At 11:30 she announced the LAST bus was leaving so people panicked and left. She was in charge of getting the card box to my car, however the box was a little small and some cards were left on the table. There are a handful of cards guests left that never made it back to us. BLUSH single handedly ruined much of the wedding that took over a year to plan, not to mention the expense. You rely on wedding planners to help make your dream wedding a reality, not to be stressed the day of and very disappointed. I called and left a message with Brandee a couple of days ago asking to return my call, but I haven't heard back yet.

Inside, you'll find the boutique up front with a private event space toward the back, and outside there's plenty of comfy seating that's great for hanging out or hosting an outdoor event. The store has something stylish for everyone...women's, men's, and even baby clothes (the children's section is in the cutest van out back!). The walls are decorated with locally sourced, one-of-a-kind art pieces, and they also sell beautiful homeware. It's one of my favorite places for gifts. Whether it's a gorgeous candle or a custom charm necklace made from their charm bar for permanent jewelry. And the events here? SO much fun! They host the most unique and artsy workshops including floral arranging, vintage candle making, diy perfume and more. I went to a vintage candle class by Nadine with some friends, and we had the best time. They also offer other fun classes like yoga and boxing. You can find all the upcoming events and workshops on their website, and they even rent out the space for private events. It's truly impossible to visit House on Lang and not feel right at home. You'll leave with things you never knew you needed! Christie, the owner, is so friendly and helpful. Definitely ask for her opinion or advice, she has amazing taste. If she hadn't had us write out some of the requests, we may have never thought of it ourselves. Our wedding ceremony and reception were in two different locations with two separate managements, so it came with some fun logistics which she managed so smoothly. Not to mention, she was monitoring the weather and rain clouds for an outdoor wedding in August in Florida :) Her warmth, organization, and attention to detail allowed us to be fully present and enjoy our wedding day without worry. Stacy gets the job done!! At times, the vendors/venue were not responsive and Stacy had to step in and rectify the issue. She and her husband have experience and connections within the central Florida wedding community and it shows! They make a great team and are the kind of people you want to be in charge for your big day. Everything came together beautifully, and we always felt like she genuinely cared about us and our vision. She also does a great job throughout the night checking in on you, making sure you are comfortable, have the drink you want/need, and stay on schedule, as needed- without stressing you out. She is professional, knowledgeable, and kind. She kept me calm when I was freaking out about rain the week of the wedding and ensured that everything went flawlessly. Additionally, she has great professional connections in Central Florida so when I had an issue with a vendor, she actually knew someone at the company and could have reached out to them if it had been necessary (which made me feel better lol). I think one of the most important things you need to have in order to truly enjoy your own wedding day is peace of mind. So many people say their wedding was stressful, or they didn't eat, or they were rushing around all day. How terrible is that when it is supposed to be your most special day an you paid so much money for all of it?? Thanks to Stacy, I did not have to worry about a single thing and got to truly relax and enjoy my day. She has a very easy and detailed questionnaire that I completed so she knew everything. I basically brain dumped all of my planning on her, gave her vendor contact info, and she went with it! Every single detail I told her about was just perfect. She set up a lot of décor, along with our florist, and it all looked so beautiful and just as I requested. I was never hungry or thirsty because Stacy was always right there to get me a beverage or whatever I needed. Stacy also handled some slightly complicated family dynamics with grace and confidence. Every one of the other vendors complimented her work and stated she was one of the best coordinators they ever worked with, which I think says a lot! My wedding party also loved her because she is so sweet and fun! She ran a flawless rehearsal for us so, again, everything was so stress free. Stacy coordinated another wedding that I attended, where she unfortunately had to handle a medical emergency with a guest and she was cool, calm, and collected under pressure. Stacy is extremely LGBTQ+ supportive and I would hire her for any type of couple. I also think her prices are extremely reasonable, especially considering the amount of work she put into making my day perfect! Stacy is AMAZING and you will not regret hiring her!

Mansi and the rest of the team were always so welcoming and the entire team has impeccable customer service. Being around your team during the wedding and only a few hours on Sunday showed me what it feels like to be catered to. Friends, this place is proof that compromise can be beautiful. Sweet meets spicy meets (meats?) savory. Every bite felt like someone dared a pitmaster and a pastry chef to create the ultimate brunch, and somehow they pulled it off. The only drawback? Ventilation. It's stuffy inside. Plan on smelling like a smoky glazed donut the rest of the day. PS. If anyone wants to bring this concept to KC, I'd like to be considered an early investor. And the bun felt like grocery bread, the type you can get for a home bbq. It was still delicious but rather disappointing at the same time. We ended up having to order a third dish just to feel satisfied and at least it was very good. The bowls are worth it, maybe not the burger but the bowls for sure! I also snagged up a donut and truthfully that is one of the best donuts I've ever had. Another downside to this spot and why I didn't give it a 4 star is because how slow the service was. We watched a whole family get up and leave because it was taking so long, I actually felt bad for the staff and owner. The place has great tasting food, just needs a little shaping up. Maybe someone who can run the kitchen as a head chef. Overall, I still recommend the place but just know that you'll be waiting a while and some things may not be available.
