This has been my go to nail shop for many years now. They recently moved to a smaller shop on Broadway a little bit north of 33rd. The shop is nice and clean and orderly. I wanted to believe most of the good reviews on here and not the few bad ones. But I'm sad to say I had the same experience where they cut open my cuticles. I still was very happy with the work done, my nails look great. Both the manicurists were very kind and talkative but I just wish they would've been more careful with my skin. Even after it had been bleeding for a while he kept buffing the skin with a file causing it to bleed more. I ended up putting a disinfectant on it at home because they did not offer me one. If you plan to go here be prepared for this or to speak up for yourself. read more

Very rude customer service. I just walked in and asked them if they had time to do my nails. Both of them looked at me for a few seconds and turned their heads as if I was invisible. I stood at the counter for a whole minute and they didn't even look at me again or at least try to greet me and ask what I needed help with. So I know this is not a case of miscommunication. This was going to be my second time here but now this is the last time ever! I decided to give them a second chance after my first lukewarm visit a month ago but they obviously don't care. I was hesitant to go cause all the bad reviews but it was kinda worth it. I went in for a refill and cause my nail on my middle finger came off. So I thought to try expert nails if they could fix it and they did a good job. Although the guy was very rough. But they left my nails and hands very well cleaned up and they shine on my nails make me love it more. Don't be afraid of it being rough and rushed. This was the worst pedicure experience I've ever had. My husband and I decided to have a "us" day so we went to Expert Nails he was looking forward to a leg massage and I the pedi experience. The gentleman there cut our nails so low that they bled, popped a blister on my toe without saying anything to me. Painted my toe nails and not the tips. No calf rub for my hubs. I have been looking so long for a nail salon to call "home" and I think that I finally found it! This place has been here forever and it is less than 5 mins from my house. Not going to lie, I was always hesitant to come here because of the location. This is the cleanest nail salon that I have ever stepped foot in. They are open on Sundays and their sign says 12-5 but they actually did not get there until 1:30 when I went in. There were 3 other ladies waiting outside and myself. No problem, I was not in a huge hurry. It is just a guy and a gal running the show and even with them having that many people at once, they rocked it. I got my shellac removed and them more put on. They did an amazing job and it was only $25 for the removal, mani and then new shellac. That is a steal! They were pleasant and polite, worked quickly but it was not a crappy mani. I am so happy I decided to actually give this place a shot, I will be coming back again and again. read more

I was referred here by one of my customers who said they do a wonderful job at shaping nails, so naturally I was excited to try them out! Their hours aren't posted anywhere unfortunately so I called a few times around 10am to no answer. I decided to just drive there and check them out since I only live about 10 minutes away. I arrived around 10:55 and saw that the sign on the door said they opened at 11am on Saturdays so I decided to wait until they opened in a few minutes. I and what appears to be two other customers now have been waiting in the parking lot for them to open for 20 minutes. Super unprofessional that 20 minutes past their opening time there is no one there, I'm sure it will be longer but I'm not willing to waste my day any more than I already did. The pedicure that I received was the worse that I have ever had. I give it two stars as the owner and his wife are very nice. My husband and I stopped here on a Friday night, about an hour and half before closing. There was only one other customer in the shop, and she was getting her nails done. We were acknowledged immediately. I was not advised to pick out a polish ( I didn't want polish but I find this very unusual, polish is always part of a pedicure). We were put in pedicure chairs and we soaked our feet for about 15 minutes. The husband started on my husand, and the wife started on my pedicure about five minutes later. We were both done at the same time. After the soak, the entire pedicure did not last even 15 minutes. They did not trim our cuticles, and the wife did not dry between my toes. They did not use any type of an exfoliant on our feet or legs. The charge was $20 per pedicure, and for the service we received, this is too high. We will not return to this shop. read more

I decided to try this salon because my mom and I needed pedicures and it's close to home, the entire time during our pedicures both employees were rushing.. their 3 yr old child is there running around unattended getting in to everything and they are constantly having to get up and yell at him. I just went again the second time with two other friends for three pedicures and it was even worse! They had only one person doing ALL THREE PEDICURES.. while having to watch their child. All of are pedicures were done individually so we had to wait on each other, absolutely nothing besides a cuticle trim and nail polish for $20. Either hire some more employees or don't schedule three pedicures when you have one person working. Also a nail salon is a terrible environment for a toddler to be spending all day in, he was playing with the power tools and getting in to chemicals which is not safe. I was a walk-in customer. I had to wait about ten minutes before they could start on me, which was no big deal as a walk-in. The two technicians were very busy, with four other clients present at the same time I was. They cut off more of my cuticles than I normally prefer, but that may also have had to do with the fact that they were in a bit of a rush to finish my nails and move on to the next appointment. Unfortunately, they didn't really shellac the ends of my nails (how some salons do, so the shellac doesn't chip as easy), and the shellac was definitely more thick in some spots compared to others. In addition, other nail salons typically don't put the polish/shellac all the way down to the base of the nail, and leave some space between the polish and the cuticle - this place did not, which left a ridge at the bottom of my nail near the cuticle, and resulted in a polish that doesn't last as long and unfortunately looks a bit shoddy after a day or two (once the nail starts to grow out). The technicians were very nice, and the prices were reasonable, but unfortunately I don't think I'll be going back here. read more
