Came in here for the first time today. Got a pedicure with Tina and she was great! Felt good plus my toes look perfect. Thank you Tina! I'll be back.

My best friend and I came here to get pedicures. She got a green tea natural pedicure and I got the lavender natural pedicure with shellac. The massage chairs were fantastic! I felt so relaxed. The salon itself has a relaxing vibe. It was quiet and there was enough staff to serve everyone there.

This is what both my ring fingers look like. Somewhat rushed in the shaping of the apex.

I went here today to get my current set removed and a new full set put on. I somehow cracked one of my nails, so I went in for a new set as I wanted the nails longer and a different shape. I normally go to a different salon, but my nail lady is only available Fri-Sun. I wanted to get ahead of the cracked nail before it potentially got worse. They sat me down in chair 7, where a lady named Van removed my nails. She did wonderful with removing them and was very gentle. I'd say 5 stars for the removal of my old set. She applied the tips to my fingers and I asked for very long. Only because I know I can adjust the nails shorter to my liking easier versus removing them to be longer. I had asked her to remove and reapply 2 of the tips as they were glued on crooked. The nails have a curve to them, so even shaping them correctly would have made the nails look weird. She soaked them off instead of ripping them off. Another 5 stars for that. She began shaping my nails and she did wonderfully with that as well. When she got to my other hand, I started to look at my nails to decide if I wanted them shorter. The nails on hand were not even to the pinky, so I wanted them to more proportionate. Before I had a chance to let her know, another lady had me move to her station, chair 8, where she'd finish them for me. So, at this point, I'm a bit confused and I tell that to the lady, and she asked me why I was confused. I told her I was curious why I was being moved. (I asked this, because moments prior, they were speaking in their language in front of me, and I had an idea they were talking about me). She then told me that Van had said I was being difficult. I, politely, asked how I was being difficult because I had barely said anything to Van as she was working on my nails. Mind you, I already have so much anxiety going to a new salon and I'm super OCD when it comes to my nails. I came here because a lot of people recommended this place, including a friend of mine. So, after she tells me what Van had said, I shut down and start crying out of frustration, humiliation, and me being uncomfortable. I almost just asked them to remove the tips and I was just going to leave. The lady in chair 8 apologized and said she used the wrong word and that Van was just nervous and didn't want to mess up my nails. Apparently she doesn't do long nails that often. The lady in chair 8 was very nice and asked how each nail looked after she filed and painted them. They look very nice. However, after making it home, I realized on both my ring fingers, the acrylic wasn't filed down enough to make a smooth apex and my OCD is starting to kick in. But, I don't want to go back and ask them to fix it, because I don't want to be a "difficult" customer. People go there and are paying for a service. If they don't like how something is being done and ask to have it corrected, then it should be corrected to the customers liking without the customer feeling bad about wanting their nails a certain way. I don't know if I'll be a returning customer. However, there were a couple things I did like about the salon. 1. The salon looked very clean and it smelled of incense. I did not smell any acrylic smell in the salon whatsoever. 2. I like the nail tips that they used. I like the curve to the nails giving it a more natural shape.

Nails so short now they don't even go over my finger pad. Roughed up and the pic doesn't do it justice how unhealthy my nails look now.

Went to get gel polish changed. Was seen fast but when I said I only wanted my nails cut a little and almond shape she completely cut everything off and they were so short only round could be done. She didn't even know what almond shape was cause she was asking someone else. I ended up being displeased with it so much I decided not to get a new color. No manicure was done at all and just the polish and nail cut happened. Was charged much too high in my opinion and my nails look terrible and scratched up. Would find some place else that. This would have been a nice place close to home but the search continues.

You can tell where the tip is and where it's not. It's a bit more visible in person.

Beautiful location fast wait times quick workers. But I was so dissatisfied with my nails. I used to go to a different nail salon who took so long to get your nails done but they'd usually do an amazing job. I always get dip with a tip. I did that this time and I have this ugly bump on my nails, I've never seen this before. I wouldn't go back. Very disappointed with the out come.

So disappointed! I got a shellac fill 4 HOURS ago and now they look like this! My other nails are also messy and lumpy. I have an interview in the AM:( I will be returning tomorrow. UPDATE: The manager reached out to me, fixed my nails the next day, and I am pleased with the results. My nail tech the day prior did not put a clear base coat or top coat, put thick polish and the uv light machine didn't properly dry my nails resulting in the mess seen in the original pictures. Glad my nails look good now!

J'Leigh takes great care to maintain a high level of cleanliness and ensure your comfort. She is a kind, warm person, and we enjoyed talking with her while she did a wonderful job on our nails. It was a pleasure to enjoy my pedicure in a quiet, intimate setting without the loud rush and harsh smells of a busy salon. I highly recommend J'Leigh!

Highly recommend!!!…read more J'Leigh (jay-lee) is thoughtful and kind. She has a wide selection of colors. She will do traditional, French Tips, and gel manicure and pedicure. She is dedicated to sanitation; sanitizes between each appointment. Reasonably priced for high standards, quality work, and approachable about discussing preferences/if you see something not up to your standards. It is a home business. She has a dedicated space that feels like a professional salon and a comfortable home atmosphere if there are interactions of home life. Give her a try! She helped me to not only start the healing process from my very first manicure ever (with gel) that was improperly removed. So much damage and brittle nails. I have very strong nails. She also problem solved with me about issues with my cuticles; they look so much better! I did about two traditional manicures with her: They still chip some; however, they lasted way longer than I expected. I also did a pedicure. She does a very simple process. She does have stamps for nail decorations and is learning freehand design work with polish. I believe this shows her motivation and dedication to a quality service. She has dedicated clients that come every two weeks for gels FYI. She used to be a medical assistant, and sanitation is a priority (she sanitizes between every appointment). Highly recommend! Don't feel the need to shave for a pedicure. She was nonjudgmental. She does have two cute very small and friendly dogs that may or may not be there to greet you. It's a simple at home business, and I'm sure she'd consider trying something added to her services if you want; just ask. It's an automatic no if you don't. She may consider; however, she has healthy boundaries that are communicated kindly and knows her limits for the best quality manicure and pedicure experience she provides. She will process or will be honest about requests for the future (straight forward). It's a small business and area; it was comfortably spaced for two people (brought my mom) and maybe three. Highly recommend!!

DO NOT STOP HERE!!!…read more I visited this nail salon for the first time today with my granddaughter, and unfortunately, it was a terrible experience from start to finish. We waited nearly two hours to be seen. I understand we did not have an appointment, but the staff was moving extremely slowly. After deciding to stay, it quickly became clear that the delay was due to employees working at a snail's pace. When we were finally seated for our pedicures, my water was lukewarm and my granddaughter's was ice cold -- and I truly mean ice cold. It felt like there were ice cubes in it. When I alerted the staff, one technician dipped her finger in the water, said something to another employee, and they removed the liner and drained the tub -- without saying a single word to us. As the water drained, we noticed the tub was filthy. There were visible dirt particles, shaved leg hair, wax residue, and other debris floating in the water. The tub clearly had not been cleaned after the previous customer. We had to point it out before they moved us to different chairs. The issues didn't stop there. My 11-year-old granddaughter requested a classic pedicure with a simple four-leaf clover design. We were told she had to upgrade to shellac just to get a small flower or clover. I've been to many nail salons and have never been told that a simple design requires a mandatory upgrade. On top of that, the technician admitted she didn't even know how to draw the design and needed to find someone else. Since I was treating my granddaughter and she really wanted it, I agreed. I chose a French tip design for myself. They did not apply a base coat, only used one thin coat of polish on the top of my toe (so thin that my nail was visible through it), and they did not apply a topcoat until I specifically asked. I also had to ask them to clean up excess polish left on my toes. A base coat and topcoat should be standard -- not something a customer has to request. After finishing, I was told I needed to sit for another 20 minutes because they do not offer a UV light or dryer for classic pedicures. So essentially, if you choose the more affordable service, you are forced to sit and wait because there is no drying equipment available. When I went to pay, the total was $113 -- for one small flower, a standard French tip design, and what should have been basic finishing steps like base and topcoat. This business is clearly nickel-and-diming customers while cutting serious corners -- including hygiene. I will not be returning and would not recommend this salon to anyone.

A week later, one of my nails had the paint peeling off in one piece, and another chipped. I stopped in to get them repaired but they were too busy. I guess I could have made an appointment, but I can't image fixing one nail would take much time and I would think that would be a priority for a business.
