Very dangerous employee they have driving for this company. Was making a lane change and the driver of this company sped up in the lane clipping my rear quarter panel with his front fender of his work van. Then I found out the whole driver side of that work van had already been side swiped. Pulled over to exchange info and employee was blunt and very uncooperative to exchange insurance information. Police came and then he exchanged info. Beware of this company's drivers on the Austin roadways. They drive with road rage. Company needs to send their drivers to take Smith Training or some sort of driving class. read more

Grande drilled a hole through my roof when installing cable, which caused some water damage. They sent me off to Expert Service. I was skeptical, assuming Grande would just hire out to the cheapest option, but Expert Service was great. They fixed the damage perfectly, and both guys that came out were very professional and courteous. Granted, I wasn't footing this particular bill, but after my experience with them, I'd definitely look to use them in the future for handyman or remodeling stuff. read more

I've used Expert Services for years. As an apartment manager I have lots of repair projects. They do just about everything. It's a smaller, locally owned company which enables them to give personal attention to my requests. They've done carpentry, electrical work, roof repair, sliding glass door repair and much more. It's very handy to have one company to contact for all the projects and repairs and not have to spend time getting estimates from other companies. Their prices are reasonable. I deal directly with the owner (Paul) who is very responsive, helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant. His crew is great. All are skilled, answer questions, give advice and are pleasant to work with. In all the years I've used them I can think of only one time when a project was sub par. I highly recommend them. read more

They removed an old ceiling fan and installed a new ceiling fan, removed several light fixtures and installed new ones around the house. Paul was very responsive via e-mail. Josh was the guy who came out to the house. He showed up exactly on-time (even gave me a courtesy call to let me know he was on the way). Did all the odd jobs that I needed completed and even gave me some good advice on some of the light fixtures. He was very personable and nice. The only problem I had was the invoice. I got billed for hauling off trash and that did come as a surprise. read more

As an out of town property owner and landlord, I've had a hard time finding someone trustworthy and knowledgable to handle all the odd jobs that come up. I'm happy to say that my search is over, and I can recommend Expert Service without reservation. They weren't the cheapest in the field (and certainly not the most expensive) but definitely worth a few extra bucks, as all the work was done quickly, and done right. In particular, I can't say enough good things about Josh (who actually came out to do most of the work). He was punctual, efficient, friendly, easy to work with, and really knows his stuff. We also ended up needing to bring in someone to do some flooring work, and an electrician - I received only great reviews from my tenants about both of those people as well. Original commitments to provide estimates and scheduling options were not completed, resulting in initial cancellation of the work. Upon request from contractor for further consideration, work was scheduled to complete simple carpentry, plumbing and electrical repairs for a home inspection. Complete inspection report, with pictures, was provided to contractor. Carpentry, masonry, and plumbing work was done very well, timely and professional. Electrical work was not done effectively, requiring multiple visits and re-scheduling and incomplete work. read more

Without even having my service completed yet, I feel compelled to write a review. I talked with Courtney over the phone and she couldn't have been more helpful and responsive. Expert service was probably the 4th or 5th company I called, who all told me that either 1. ) my problem was bigger than I thought, or 2.) they couldn't see me until next week. I called Expert Service and talked with Courtney, who was able to offer me same day service ( for a reasonable rate, considering the time crunch!) and took my issue seriously. I agree wholeheartedly with the other review here- they go above and beyond, and do whatever they can to make sure the work you need done is done right.
