Wasn't ready when promised two weeks ago, and now store has been closed every time the sign on door says they are supposed to be open. Our kid leaves again tomorrow without their needed work clothes. No one answers phone, no way to contact owner, don't know what to do. So much for that Christmas present . . .

It only needed…read morehemmed up and bustled and the gal literally only cut the front of my dress from one design seam to the other and it made the whole appearance of my dress change and gave it corners which now it doesn't sit right. Not to mention the fact that my train is no longer in tact and the busily loops don't even fit over the bustle buttons. One of the bustle loops only goes through one part of the train. I did call and she insisted I bring it back to her but I'm afraid she did enough damage. Plus she knew my father was ill and I was going to lose him before the wedding even though we planned this wedding solely for him to be able to walk me down the aisle. Unfortunately I lost my dad a few days ago and I have not had the emotional capacity to deal with the dress, especially knowing that she has had this business for a very long time and she should know how to hem up a wedding dress since that's what her profession is. my honest feeling is that she was trying to half ass the job thinking that I would not notice since I was so occupied with my father and spending every last moment with him possible. I am absolutely devastated that she trashed my dress. I luckily was smart enough to take photos directly after picking the dress up from her so they have timestamps and I can prove that this is how I picked the dress up from her. And fortunately there was no seamstresses or alterations place that could fit my dress in before the wedding so I have to walk down the aisle like this . Although I did not notice, how butchered it was until trying it on days later from pick up. I cannot believe that someone who owns and runs a business in wedding dress alterations and dress alterations could do this to a bride, especially not a bride who's losing their father. She must've thought my mind was going to be elsewhere and I would not notice.. I absolutely would not recommend taking anything to her. I wouldn't even give her one star if that was an option. As professionals who alter dresses I was expecting that they would know what the right length was. There were other hiccups such as putting in cups in the chest area to eventually having to remove them. I tried the dress on when I went to pick it up and the chest area would not fit. I let them know that I could not wear the dress like that so they removed the cups. Overall, I am disappointed with the service I got. It does get a bit nerve wracking when they bring out the scissors and start cutting your dress, but don't worry they are professionals and know what they are going. The only flaw I see is the price of a dress purchased elsewhere cost $75 to alter them bottom hem. It seemed kind of steep but I will say Nordstrom was the ONLY place in Spokane that had time to alter the dress within a two week period! Worst business I have ever encountered…read more My wife brought my wedding suit, her wedding dress and several other items to this place to have them professionally dry cleaned and preserved. They absolutely destroyed my suit. The leather pieces are completely gone, the suit appears stretched in the front and is no longer crisp. I think they ran it through an industrial washing machine vs dry cleaning it like we paid for. It's beyond repair. They also destroyed my wife's jacket. All the rhinestones are gone. It appears they ran this through a washing machine too instead of dry cleaning. Both items are ruined. We paid them over $1000 to handle all our items. They never disclosed the damage to us. There's no way they didn't see it. They told my wife they take before and after pictures of everyone but strangly they refused to show them to us. They accused my wife of "bringing the items in already damaged." This is the wost service we have ever experienced. They have made zero effort to resolve this issue and have not contacted us back at all. Do not use them.

I went to Nina last summer to get my dress done after being referred by honest in ivory. I described what I wanted, which were some very minor changes (shortening the straps, hem, and bustle). The result was not what I wanted as it made the dress lay weirdly on my bust, which I had indicated as a concern prior to the work being done. She charged me more money to then fix the mistake, making the alterations cost way more than I had budgeted for. When I had the final try on my dress it was very unflattering in the places I had expressed concern about but it was too close to my wedding day to fix it. I went home in frustrated tears. That is not how you should feel when your wedding dress (that you spent a lot of money on) is completed. I'm sure she is great at custom gowns, but she seems to have little interest in minor alterations. My friend, who was also my maid of honor, went there even after I told her this and had a very similar experience.
