I went to Cloud Nine Bridal with a dress that I purchased in California and it needed to be hemmed maybe 2 inches shorter. Makayla did such an excellent and thorough job, getting me in for two separate fittings, with just weeks to go before the ceremony (out of town). She really took her time and made sure every detail was paid attention to, bustling me up to make sure everything evenly touched the ground and the train was still intact, etc. She even recorded a video of herself doing up the bustle and talking through it so I could show my maid of honor the morning of the wedding so there was no confusion. Something else that she did that I was really touched by was that she saved all the lace trimmings from the alterations and kept them in the bag with the dress. I ended up wrapping this lace around my bouquet and it matched everything so perfectly, and added a little bridal touch! Again, I was not expecting that and it just shows how she thinks of everything. Also, the cost to get it altered was extremely reasonable, which was a breath of fresh air, considering every other vendor seemingly likes to triple the cost of anything when you say the word "wedding." Altogether I was super happy with my experience and I will be recommending this place to every Idaho bride that I know. read more

Lisa was very helpful as I wanted to change the sleeves to be more my style and I wanted to add straps. I absolutely love the ladies at Cloud Nine! I brought my mom, sister and best friend with me and we were all welcomed with smiles! I had a very short first appointment since I was on the hunt for a specific dress, but I had the best time! I worked with Bri and she was awesome! I'm not usually the one to get all dolled up and look fancy schmancy, but let me tell you I felt like a million bucks. She gave me different dresses that were all similar, but had their own special twist to them. I felt comfortable and we all had a ton of fun! I was able to buy my dress off the rack since it fit just about perfectly and needed just a few alterations. Lisa, who ran the appointment, was amazing. She was great at explaining what kind of alterations my dress needed and made sure I knew to ask any questions I had. All in all, Cloud Nine Bridal is the way to go. This shop was beyond amazing. It was so personal and easy going. They helped perfectly through the entire process of finding a wedding gown to making some pretty major alterations on it. The shop itself is amazingly cute, in a really convenient location, and hosts an amazing variety of dresses. By far the best shop I went to out of three or four and they had really reasonable prices to fit in my budget. I was very impressed with this place. I went with my mom on a whim to try on some dresses without an appointment. The owner was so accommodating and let me try on dresses even though we hadn't called ahead. I've been to other bridal stores where I've only seen a couple of dresses that I was interested in trying on. I only went through half the racks of dresses and found about 10 dresses to try on before deciding to stop looking through the racks. 5 ended up being favorites and I ended up buying the one that was my absolutely favorite. I've never found a dress where I liked the top and bottom and back and design and it was comfortable! It also looked like a $5000 dress but it cost $700. What?! Amazing prices! There was another bride there with her girlfriends who said yes to her dress too. I would highly recommend you check out this store for their selection of beautiful dresses, the quality of fabric, the amazing attitude and helpfulness of the staff and the price! You can't go wrong. My sister and Mom came over from Montana to watch me try on dresses. When we walked in there was a gal sitting at the front desk who looked up at us did not say a word, and then looked back down without a greeting. This may have been because she knew she was not our stylist however it was uncomfortable and not a good first impression. They do have beautiful dresses in this shop but the gals we had working with us were not overly friendly and did not seem to care about how special this moment for a bride is. We were not offered a mimosa, and when we asked if they were available it costs over 35 dollars to open the bottle. Over all the experience was not great and I would not recommend them for that reason. If you want to feel important and special this place is not it. With that being said they do have beautiful gowns. read more
