I have been working with Express on and off for nearly 2 years. They definitely can and do put you to work. First you call and you get to talk to Brenda....absolutely sweet and wonderful. Then you go in for your interview and while waiting, get treated to cookies and coffee. I am a bartender/food server. I also am pursuing a degree and closing in on the end. My classes are varied and short term so my hours change a lot. Instead of going from job to job, I let Express know when I am available to work, and also let them know that they can call me at any time and I am willing to work. Win-win. I worked with express for just about a year and it was great! The interview was lengthy but at least we got all of it done! Interview, interest, typing test, resume revision, direct deposit info, everything. So when it came to getting updates on possible jobs it was easy all I had to do was show up to the interview hope for the best and receive updates... I got placed with a full time job with the salary I desired within a few days!!! And managed to stay with them until my job was fulfilled then I moved on to banquet server and that was also great I was working every other weekend and overall my experience was great my expectations were precise and the staff is beyond helpful and friendly. Working for Express as a banquet server has been awesome! Most of the time we will work events serving food at places like the Hyatt and the Four Seasons, and sometimes at Universities, which are all very fun to work at. The staff at the Hotels and Universities are wonderful to work with and all of the Express staff are my friends now so of course amazing to work with. Our Manager for Express, Priya, schedules us for these banquet server jobs. She is the nicest person ever and a super friendly face to see to help us get checked in when we arrive at these jobs.
