First I was gifted flowers that were to be delivered 12/24/2024 and they were not delivered till 12/26. In the floral arrangement there were carnations. The person sending the flowers knows this and sends me flowers often. I called the florist asking if that had been noted and was told no. They had another arrangement for someone else who had allergy but not for mine. When checking with the sender they said that they had indeed specified my allergy. I do not appreciate being lied to and had to throw out the carnations thus misshaping what was a nice arrangement. Also have to point out flowers weren't the freshest probably after settling so long before being delivered. read more

ordered a Father's Day succulent flower arrangement from Expressions by Elizabeth because they were one of the florist in Milford that had done a great job the 30+ yrs I've lived in Milford. I trusted them to get it and send my Dad something awesome since I now live in Texas. Well that was a mistake, they instead filled the ceramic car vase with ragweed daisy, and a two sunflowers, which look like they are almost dead and my Dad is Allergic to them. I called to have the order corrected and the "designer" Mariam answered the phone and was rude. I explained what the site said, what the picture looked like, and I had clicked on the "no substitute" which means they are to call or cancel the order if they can not fulfill the specific arrangement. After this to Mariam she stated I guess will come pick them up then and rudely sighed like she didn't have time to listen to what I had to say and was like well whatever. As a service business owner myself that deals with customers whether I'm happy, sad, mad, tired, or sick, I still give people a pleasant upbeat demeanor.....which today I received none. Please do better with your customer service.Please do better with knowing what you have listed on your website, and please do better on your customer service. Absolutely terrible customer service!!!! I ordered a corsage and matching boutonnière and had asked for an emerald green ribbon. The ribbon on the boutonnière was a different shade altogether from the corsahe. When I asked about that I was told I was wrong they were cut from the same spool it was just darker on the corsage because of the way the ribbon gathered. I then asked if I could buy a piece of the emerald ribbon so I could just fix it myself. The lady rolled her eyes at me and threw the spool stating just take it. Can I even give them a star?!?! Repossessing flowers because they screwed up?!?! Unheard of! Unethical! I had ordered my good friend flowers after her grandfather passed to cheer her up. We paid for two up charges for the largest and fullest bouquet in that style. When they arrived it was a small washed out bouquet that you would maybe pay $30 for in the store. That's being generous on the value. The bouquet we ordered cost $85! I called From You Flowers where we ordered them from. They used this florist to do the initial delivery. I explained the situation and a couple days later, to make it better, they sent a new bouquet to make it right. The second one was even smaller then the last and some of the roses were brown at the base. I contacted From You Flowers and we agreed on a small discount to make up for it since it still was not right. It was not a full refund, and I was fine with that because I understood that costs needed to be covered even though I still ended up paying around $55 for something I was disappointed in when it came to what was promised vs. delivered. Today my friend arrives home from the funeral to the florist showing up trying to repossess BOTH bouquets!!!!!! How can you take both back when I didn't even get a full refund?!?!?! Or even take them back at all?!?! This is just unheard of! She busted out in tears and the man felt bad so he said we are just going to throw them away, so let her keep one. My friend said she would have been happy with even weeds, it was the thought. That's why I didn't pursue it any further than the second one and have it re delivered a third time! Why?!?! I have never heard of a florist taking back flowers! Expressions By Elizabeth messes up and then they did this! I am in shock, as was my friend. They didn't even try to make it right!!!! Can you imagine your friend sending your flowers for a family loss and receive a bouquet of flowers. A redelivery being made to make good on the florist not initially sending a product as promised. Then getting a second, bouquet that had flowers that were already decaying? But wait, the the florist (Expressions by Elizabeth) shows up on the day of the funeral services and takes them away from the recipient?! That is wrong and cold and unprofessional! I still paid money for both sets of flowers and they had the nerve to show up and take them away! Didn't even offer to give her a new one to replace them?!?! Who does this?! I strongly feel That Expressions By Elizabeth was upset because they were called to the carpet for their poor workmanship and tried to retaliate. They drove from Milford to Amelia to take these away. They were trying to make a point! They told my friend I was refunded and they were taking them back. Again, I was discounted, not refunded. I have never in my life heard of a florist doing this! Then to show up, take them away, and say it was going in the trash anyway?!?! On the day of a funeral?!?!?! They could have called me. Spoke to me. Not shown up at the recipient's home and take away a gift that was given. Had Expressions By Elizabeth sent a gorgeous and full bouquet we paid for instead of being cheap and cutting corners we wouldn't have experienced this. I have read other reviews on the internet, Facebook, and Yelp. It seems Expressions By Elizabeth is not the place to go. I recommended From You Flowers to not use them as a florist in the future. If I have a choice, I most certainly will not either. I would NOT recommend this POS florist to anyone! read more

I was disappointed with the service I received at Expressions by Elizabeth in Milford, Ohio. In fairness, I was a walk-in customer and I understand that florists like to have advanced notice. I was on my way home early from work on a Friday night, thinking about the daddy-daughter dance I was going to go that evening, and thought it would be nice to get a corsage for my 6 year old daughter (after she mentioned how some of the girls wore a flower on their wrist the previous year). I walked in and waited for several minutes for someone to help me. It wasn't until I looked in the refrigerated display case (that I learned was full of already ordered flowers and corsages) that someone acknowledged me. Upon explaining what I needed I was told with a huff that I needed to give 24 hours notice and there was no way they could possibly meet such an outlandish request (my words, not theirs, but same kind of tone). As I was walking out they explained they could make the corsage for me in less than an hour. Interestingly, upon pick-up, the charge for the corsage was $6 more than a reserved one exactly the same in the refrigerated case. I felt like I wasn't a valued customer. I don't even mind paying a premium for the short notice. It was the attitude of the woman who 'helped' me that left a bad taste. Just imagine if she would have said, "Oh, we absolutely can help you with that. There's a $5 same day fee, but we can have it ready in less than an hour." GREAT. Sign me up, I want it- my little girl will be thrilled. On top of that, the place was full of trinket collectibles and such- really not well merchandised and the staff was not helpful. If I need flowers in the future I will definitely go to Kroger's across the street, and yes- I'll order the corsage in advance next year, just not from here. read more

I have had great success with this online service, but unfortunately a bad florist such as Expressions by Elizabeth was chosen as one of their florists. They done some really nice flowers for my wedding. I enjoy going in the shop and looking around. They will let you wander around with out being bothered if you just want to look. One of the dumbest groups of employees I have ever had to deal with. My flowers for Mother's Day were to be delivered on Saturday. I was sent a confirmation that they had been received Saturday evening. They hadn't. I called Sunday morning to check the status on them and were told they were ninth on the delivery list and would arrive to my mom in around 2 hours. Almost 4 hours passed by and they still hadn't been delivered, at this point it's already 6 pm, 24 hours after I had already been confirmed they were delivered. I was pissed. If you can't do the service, don't offer it! I called again and this time was rudely told that I was 4th on the list after the delivery the driver was already on. So fifth. HOW on earth is that possible?! Four hours to deliver 5 flowers?! At this rate my flowers sure weren't going to get there that day. It would be the middle of Monday by the time the worst delivery person on earth made it. And dealing with the employees terrible attitudes was like being lit on fire. Unapologetic, not helpful, rude, and generally didn't care about not sucking. Absolutely the WORT florist. I would never recommend them to even my worst enemy. I have used this florist previously with great success. Wonderful people and great service. However, this time was not a fun experience. Lisa refused to give me pricing. She gave me "ranges." I was not home when delivery man left flowers on the porch at 11:17 AM in direct sunlight with temperature at 84. Company phoned my cell an left a message at 2:54 PM advising me they had left a delivery and to call back and confirm. When I finally got home the flowers were wilted, dried, the water in the vase looked like pond water with scum floating in the bottom and they smelled like dried hay. They offered to bring fresh flowers but I requested a refund instead. They had my phone number and could have easily called in advance and avoided this whole unpleasant situation. The flowers were a gift so I was not expecting them. I have requested the money be refunded to the person sending the gift. I spoke with Jody on 7/14/2014 to followup on the request for a refund, but was advised that the flowers were ordered through 1-800-Flowers and that the sender needs to make the request for refund through them. Expressions by Elizabeth will not make a refund. I asked her why the driver was so irresponsible and left the flowers knowing they would not survive the temperature of the day and got no reply. I asked why I was not called in advance since they had my phone number and Jody advised me they never call a customer in advance because that spoils the surprise and she had the order in front of her and there was no instruction to call me in advance. Blame the customer!!!! I told her how upset and disappointed I was and her reply was "it's only flowers, no need to be so upset. I have other things to do and need to get off the phone." read more

I paid $85 for a bouquet and delivery online through troysflorist.com. This company received only $50 of that. Despite explicit instructions to leave the flowers on the door if by chance no one answered, the delivery person did not leave them at the door. They said it was too cold. I get that, but if my instructions could not have been followed, I would expect that someone would call me to tell me that there was a problem. Also, despite there being a very good, working door bell, the delivery person chose to knock instead of ringing the bell, so even though someone was home, no one answered. In either case, the one thing I wanted to give to my mother on her 60th birthday failed to make it. Despite there being a phone number on the order for the house, no one at the florist bothered to call. Upon calling them to check on the status, I was met with a rude and unhelpful associate who told me it wasn't their problem and that they'll try to deliver them tomorrow despite me offering to send someone to pick up the flowers. Sure, they would have to stay an extra 10 or 15 minutes past closing time, but given their mistake, it would be the right thing to do. Bottom line: do not trust this florist to come through for you if time and customer service are important to you. read more

DO NOT use this florist!!. I ordered flowers online and the flowers that were delivered hardly looked like the picture at all. I was very DISAPPOINTED and embarrassed when my mother received her birthday flowers. When spending $60 on flowers I expect to get a nice looking arrangement and that is far from what I received.
