From the moment I walked in I felt welcomed; I was greeted by the instructor and follow dancers. No partner; no problem. The way they teach the class, you do not need a partner. You actually learn the dance is phases and you go down the line and practice with a different partner each time. Being new at this and knowing I have coordination issues, I never felt I was being singled out for messing up. If I had a question or asked to see it again, it was not a bother. All the participants are very understanding and accepting. The practice dance portion of the class allows you to practice what you learned or dance a different style. Again no partner; no problem. Those that attend the class are so friendly and willing to teach others, that you will be on the dance floor more than you thought!! I highly recommend taking lessons here. I went back for several Ballroom Mondays and even tried the Westie Thursdays.
