She told me to speak up next time, that I chose the color, and that it would take like 30 min and that they were all booked. I hate the nails I paid for. Now I am stuck with them for weeks. The day before my birthday, my Mom out in California surprised me with a gift certificate to Eye Beauty Studio for lash extensions. I had never had them before and I was VERY that they would look "fake". It was just some thing I have never looked into before. Either way, I was ready to give it a chance. I called Freda to schedule and lucky for me she had a same-day cancellation so I slid right into that appointment and it was go time. When I parked in front of the salon I texted to let her know I had arrived and she met me at the door, mainly due to Covid reasons. She walked me back to her HUGE private salon and I sat on the couch and immediately felt comfortable. Freda explained all the risks and benefits and I filled out a couple of pieces of paperwork. We came up with a plan after bouncing ideas back-and-forth, looking at photos and really just trusting the process. Like I said earlier, I had never done this before and since I had no idea what that's was about to happen I was a little bit anxious as we got stared but that quickly went away. Freda explained what she was about to do and why and it made me really understand the process of what was going on. Things can be scary when you're eyes are closed for an entire appointment... but not this one. She also really made me feel like I was cozy at home laying in my own bed. From the soothing music to the coziest blanket I've ever felt in my life, it wasn't ling before I fell sleep... twice. The rest of the time we had a wonderful conversation. She is such a good listener. I am so grateful to my Mom all the way in California who just wanted me to feel pretty because when I say I posed for my after photos, I POSED for those after photos. I absolutely adore Freda. On one hand she is so professional and an extremely brilliant businesswoman and on the other hand she is the kindest most gentle person who just wants to make people feel pretty. She is the perfect combination of everything that makes up a good human being and for me it's certainly a treat whenever I meet someone like her.

They're great if you want to look at least a little made up without spending time putting on full make up. In December 2023 I decided to have Freda, the owner, do a lip brush. I hate wearing lipstick since it dries up my lips, which was the deciding factor. It's a two step process but totally worth it. No more lipstick for me, only some gloss. Just recently they added facials to their menu. I went today and had a brightening facial with an exfoliation done with Kaylin. It was pretty amazing and Kaylin explained every step of the facial. My skin felt so subtle and soft afterwards. In fact, I booked my next facial appointment already and I've decided to do this once a month on the same day as my eyelash fills. They offer packages which makes it cheaper than buying individual facials. Moral of this long review...I am totally pleased with all of their services and can only recommend them to anyone who wants to practice some self care!

I showed up at 1:40pm and was told my appointment has been rescheduled to 2pm due to the wax specialist had taken another client. That's personally not my problem. I showed up early and on time. It's not my fault someone else can't respect other individuals time. I have been with European Wax center over a decade. I travel often between locations in TN, FL and NC. Sadly this location was the closet which is an hour away from where I stay. I have other obligations today and can't sit around and wait because somebody else decided not to be on time. It's completely inconsiderate and inconvenient. Side note the assistant manager was extremely emphatic and very friendly! I understand life happens. However today was not the day. I have other obligations. So very disappointing. And now I will have to drive an additional two hours just to get my already paid for services taken care of.

Recently, after reviewing my transaction and comparing pricing, I reached out respectfully to ask for clarification regarding the charge and to address concerns about the results of the work she performed. I outlined my questions clearly and requested that communication remain in writing so there would be no misunderstandings. As shown in the screenshots, rather than addressing the pricing discrepancy or concerns in writing, I was told to "move forward with my next steps" because I was not willing to switch to a phone call. I made multiple attempts to resolve this directly and professionally before sharing this review. My request was simply for written clarification regarding a financial and service concern. I'm sharing this experience for transparency so others can make informed decisions. Based on how this situation was handled, I would not personally recommend her to anyone. What makes a good business absolutely depends on how they handle any arising issues and how they communicate. See for yourself how she handled this and be the judge. 0/10 very disappointed to be honest, I had hoped she'd remain a good person and help me out. :/ I will add that I am in the process of now filing with the NC Board of CAE & NC Health Dept. due to the negligence.
