I visited her studio on 4/18/15. It was the worst experience I have ever had. She destroyed my eyebrows. I had specific instructions to keep my eyebrow THICK a little shape and overall CLEAN UP. She went out of control and took way way to much of my eyebrows and made them very thin. I was so upset. She took way to much off. I went home and tried to fix it but I was unable to do so. Her only response was to come back in three weeks and I'll fix them. I asked for a refund later that day and all she could do is laugh at how upset I was and threw the cash at me for my refund. I will never ever go back there again and I don't recommend that anyone should. STAY away and go into Raleigh. read more

Absolutely 100% NOT. This lady is was nothing but rude and she's extremely heavy handed. She came into the salon late and while arriving I overheard her negatively talking about the early clients that were waiting for her. While in her chair, she roughly grabbed me to be in a position that would work for her to do my eyebrows. When I asked if she could be a bit more gentle, she became extremely unpleasant during my service. The fact of a matter is, this lady is HEAVY HANDED, her gestures are rough and she needs to acknowledge that. To me, it seems she doesn't respect her clients or their boundaries. Her prices are also high for the service, well at least she charged me $18 for eyebrow threading anyways. I'd say take your service and money elsewhere. There are plenty of places that offer the same service that will be gentle, kind and appreciative of their clients. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

please do not come here if you have thick eyebrows. even if you tell her to do a clean up and keep them thick she will not listen to you. this lady ruined my thick eyebrows and cut them in almost half the size :( i read the reviews and still went thinking that if i told her to keep them thick she would listen because how hard can that be for someone who has been threading for years? Apparently it is because she took it upon herself to cut my eyebrows in half its size and the THINNEST i have ever had them. Please do not come here if you want to keep your brow thickness. Words cannot explain just how foul this woman is... She actually sprayed spit in my face to start with. Her breath nearly made me vomit. What she did to my eyebrows was anything but exquisite. She remove the entire she of my brow where I went to have the tops thinned. I should have never sat down. First I hear a man arguing intensely in some Arabic language and the smell!!! Cigarette smell was overpowering. I left as soon as she said she was done and will never return this cannot be an authorized salon , does she need a license as do hair dressers and where is her health certificate. By far the worst threading experience ive ever had, I said keep them thick and she made them thinner than they've ever been. She is rude and complains about your eyebrows before doing them then also cuts up your face completely. I've NEVER been more disappointed in a threading place. BEYOND HORRIBLE. First time, she used the wrong thread. My face was torn up and on fire! The shape was great & it's close to home. Went again, she was closed (even though the sign was on). Went back at another time, door was open, but said she was closing early. She took me anyway. The shape wasn't great and , again, my face was torn up. She was rude. I won't be going back. read more

What took me so long to switch from waxing to threading? Threading is the same price (maybe less) than waxing, without the redness. And the owner of this studio is amazing! Sure it hurts a little, but no worse than waxing. Definitely as good as it gets when it comes to eyebrow maintenance! read more

Not sure that these complaining people are referring to the right salon. However I have had my eyebrows butchered by others via wax and threading and Anita helped my eyebrows go back to their natural thickness and shape them so sexy that people would stop me in public and comment how nice they are in the Crabtree and Cary malls. If you know what you want you should be specific. If you don't ask for suggestions. This salon is very professional and she goes above and beyond to please. First of all I would like to tell you all that this is the first time I am ever writing a review. And especially a negative review because I would never want to harm any business without any reason. I am writing it because I don't want any body to suffer. I just got my eye brows done from here,the lady butchered me real bad. And I also had the same complaint which many of you others have. I asked her to just clean up my eye brows and keep them thick. She in return made them thinner than I wanted. But it does not end here. When I called to complain that she literally put cuts in my SKIN, ( mind you I was very proper over the phone) She was extremely un professional and rude, she said its all my fault that I was not holding my skin tight enough and when I tried to challenge that ,she said,ok fine and hung up on me. When I tried calling back because it's my skin I am talking about, she never picked up the phone. I would have listened to the apology had she ever made one because I know things can sometimes go wrong. But i can never tolerate such attitude. I have no idea if she have a legal license to open up this place . This was my worst experience ever , actually it has never happened with me ever. And I have almost 20+ years of getting my brows threaded. AVOID it at any cost. There are much better options near by. read more

I agree with Chill G below. I'm not sure if everyone is referring to the same place. Anita who's the owner of Exquisite Eyebrow is the only person I let touch my eyebrows. I've been going to her for almost 7 years and I've never had a complaint once! She will always ask you exactly what kind of shape and thickness you'd prefer. My eyebrows look amazing and it's so much better than hot wax and the unreliable shaping I got with waxing. The woman who did my eyebrows was very pleasant and she seemed to understand what I wanted and took the time to listen to how I wanted my eyebrows done. However, she ignored my preference and did my eyebrows to thin. I normally don't write reviews, but I am concerned with her customer service. Although she preferred that I have thin, barely there eyebrows, I would think that my preference would matter most. If you want thin eyebrows this is a great salon, if you would like to have medium to thick eyebrows I would strongly reconsider. read more
