Beyond unprofessional.. I had a 10:30am appointment…read morescheduled for today. Genesis did not show up to the appointment. I was on the phone with her crying due to that fact that I raced to Lehigh all the way from Bonita Springs. I was running around like a headless chicken trying to make the appt on time, I slipped & fell, hurting both of my knees. I drove as fast as I could & I received multiple messages from Genesis stating that she was not going to her "office" due to the fact that I didn't confirm I was coming.. I asked her for the address MULTIPLE times & was ignored so I googled the business. She never provided me with a phone number, business location, or any form of confirmation email (which is what any legitimate business would do) I sent her a $50 deposit through cashapp & when I asked her if she had received it 2 days later she replied with " Sorry I've been busy not on my phone" .. while also posting videos of herself partying. Is this how people run their businesses now? I made it to her business location which was difficult to find in a shopping plaza with no parking... When I asked for my deposit back & stated that this was extremely unfair to me as I had driven a long way for her to not even be at her "business" that was "open" according to Google & we had a scheduled appointment.. she was extremely defensive & said I "came at her sideways" I didn't realize we were in high school, but okay. Nice verbiage! Genesis said that she was "on edge & shaking" so she found a way to scam me out of my $50 deposit. I even apologized for not making it clear that I was coming, she said thank you & hung up on me. I'm in disbelief about this entire situation. I genuinely wanted to believe she was an honest, hard working, ethical woman like she pretends to be on social media but I guess I was wrong. God bless her & her business! People work hard for their money & it's sad to think someone would do something so shady.

I even called before I bought the initial groupon to make sure she did them and sent pics prior. I was lied to! I sat in the most uncomfortable chair for 3 hours at one of my appts. The setting was the worst. The chair is right inside the door in the middle of everyone with Jerry Springer blaring throughout the salon while people sat in the chairs in the waiting area just steps from my chair. This place is right out of the movie barbershop! Once she left me on the table while she went in the back and had lunch.. took personal calls while she's doing my lashes.. with her headset .. but still talking into my face... arguing with her son most of the time. I can tell that her number one priority is to make her customer's happy by being honest and listening to what we exactly like. If you have never threaded before let me break it down for you. Personally I have thick, dense hair and threading just seems to keep me manicured looking clean longer than traditional wax. This is just my preference. Threading is done with string and is the method of pulling the hair from its follicle at the root. You typically use both your hands while she threads. One of them is used to pull down your skin tight from your eyelid area and the other one pull your skin up to create a tight surface easy for maximum hair removal. It is painful but so worth it! Takes around 10-15 minutes and a very short wait. Keep in mind y'all that my right eyebrow is extremely rounded and I am currently working on its arch game.
