When I brought Saoirse to Supreme K9, I was a bit apprehensive, concerned about their methods, the level of success, and whether or not she would return a different dog (I was worried she wouldn't be the same). We initially chose the four-week program and after the second day, I noticed a certain level of obedience that wasn't there before. She already knew your standard commands like "sit" and "come" but getting her to stay still was a challenge. But I noticed an improvement immediately. Unlike most dog training facilities who largely keep you in the dark, one of the most helpful aspects of their strategy is to document their training sessions on Instagram reels where you can watch your dog in class every day. Our main trainer Dina (who is AWESOME) documented her training session with Saoirse almost hourly, so I got to watch their methods, how my pup reacted, and how much she learned daily. I got to learn the commands they used and got to watch in real time my dog transform. We ended up extending the four-week program to six-weeks to allow for even more training. The one-hour weekly owner/dog/trainer sessions were extremely helpful too, training ME how to work with my dog.. not order her around but work WITH her. They gave me all the tools I needed to help my dog continue her path. Once our six week program ended, I have my pup Saoirse back... still the same pup but with a LOT less reactivity toward other dogs... and I myself have learned many techniques and methods to keep her focused and obedient. I can't recommend them enough. Dina, Otto, Evan, Katie, Brian, Artemis... the whole team are amazing to work with and MASSIVELY recommended.

Otta and the team at SupremeK9 were incredibly helpful through the 1 on 1 sessions and the general trainings. Langlang almost does a perfect heel walk all the time now and is generally much more responsive. I think the most important part of the training to be honest was actually their ability to clearly articulate (and show) the steps required to make me a better dog owner. Mercy does a great job and is very knowledgeable and experienced with animals (I think she used to work/volunteer at an animal shelter). Also, the cost is pretty reasonable. My pup hates baths and the hairdryer, so I know he's probably a challenge, but he seems calm when I've come to pick him up from the spa. After his spa day, he looks adorable and smells great. Also, the second time I brought him to Furry Tails, he was jumping up and down since he was so excited to see Mercy. My only challenge with Furry Tails is street parking around that area is tough, but it's not too big of a deal since I just need to park for 5 min to drop the pup off and pick him up.

I could pickup and drop off any time, which was a godsend. I've toured every pet care facility in Jersey City, and I feel pretty comfortable saying that EDL is the best one. I love that they only take small and gentle dogs--I saw a few dogs get rejected/expelled because their size/temperament wasn't a match. They are way more selective than the other daycare facilities in the area. I guess for some families that would be a problem, but for someone like me with a small, gentle dog, it provided a lot of peace of mind to know my dog was safe. Other things I loved: - Regular outdoor walks through the day (unlike other facilities, which just mop up after the dogs) - James and crew really seem to love the dogs - No reservations needed with corporate month plan - Plenty of carpets and couches felt like home - Can watch my dog play through the window - Never more than ~12 dogs at a time, so it's not too crowded. My only complaints are that I wish there was more space and a webcam feed, but it's not that big of a deal.

So grateful that Kevin will be slowly opening back up after taking time off. At this time Kevin is only able to groom small dogs 10lbs and under at the moment. That is subject to change. Not sure if the shop will be open on Saturday's. My boys are so used to Kevin, I refuse to try anywhere else. Kevin takes his time, and it took my orange Pomeranian 10 years to behave at the groomers. Now he's 15 with no teeth, except for his back teeth, can't bite at the groomer or Vet any more. Kevin really is an excellent groomer that puts the dog's needs first. Tip: My suggestion give Kevin a call to ask if you have any questions or to book an appointment.

If they take care of your dog, you have nothing to worry about. The concept of a 30-minute relief walk is not exactly what they do. Whenever possible, they do a lot more than that. My girl is usually out with them for a lot longer, she gets a lot of energy out and plays with the other dogs. I get detailed updates every day. - they do what's right for your dog, not what's easy. My dog has severe anxiety (doesn't not like to go outside, used to do none of her business outside, would try and hide under cars, in other people's houses etc). They have almost fully transformed her since we met. That is huge both the dog and me. - they charge you a monthly rate, which at first might seem weird to you but it's so easy. I never worry about anything. It's taken care of. I don't count walks, scheduling etc. weekend and out of hours are extra of course. - they love the dogs. And vice versa. Our life has been better since having them
