They excused themselves went back to the truck. Then I got a call from their office they didn't want to do it so they were cancelling. I asked for my deposit back they said no because it was a same day cancelation. I talked to a lawyer I know he said file a fraud charge ack with the bank. I wish I hadn't used my debit card instead of credit card. Lawyer said deposit is to protect be against customer bailing out. It's part of what you paid them to do work, they changed their mind they have no right to keep the money. To be clear the one star is for dishonesty on the company's. Part. Otherwise I wouldn't have left any review. So Monday I will file a dispute with bank.

Four young men and two 26' trucks showed up right on time and worked nonstop at an extremely rapid pace to load up extremely heavy furniture and oversized belongings in 3-4 hours (including elevator time) . When they got to the new home, it was about half the time to unload, hook up appliances, and rearrange furniture I requested a couple of times. The boxes were high quality and not the junk you buy at the big box stores and they give you discounts for buying 10 or 20. The Penske truck was great. A very clean truck that ran great and even had a liftgate on it that made moving our appliances and heavy furniture a snap. Loved it. Beats the heck out of those guys with the old orange trucks. LOL Customer service was top notch. Mike took great care of us and made sure we had everything we needed and was very professional. If we ever need storage we will go there!!!

I carried the equipment in a paper grocery bag...was greeted with a warm welcome...set it on the counter...and was asked for my account number. Well...I didn't know it. Thought I'd have to run back home...but...they have a way to look it up. 3 seconds later, I was finished. Wow. Good processes and great customer service. There was no wait, I was helped immediately. I didn't have to pay for the return, so I'm not sure about pricing. But the friendly employees could help you quickly.

Beau, the owner, visited us and gave an estimate that was very competitive. Throughout the move process they had very good communication. Before the move, we packed up most of the things ourselves, but Phoenix offered to have some of their office staff pack up the fragile items like dishes and art work on an hourly rate. This really helped! On the day of the move, they were on time and they brought in 10 people to pack the van and get us on our way quickly. When they moved us, they did not consolidate and transfer our things to another van, our things stayed in the same van until it reached its final destination. When they unpacked, they were very professional and efficient. To summarize, we had a great experience moving with Phoenix Express and I would highly recommend them for anyone to move with!

Adam took the time to visit with me at my home and inspected my belongings BEFORE quoting me, none of the blind 2-minute quoting a lot of other companies offer. Compassion Movers came to our rescue, they had to come back with an engine lift after a couple of days but they got it lifted and mounted on the stand that it came with. They were reasonably and fairly priced and I was more than happy to support a locally owned moving business.
