Mailing packages is not one of my strengths. I had a return of internet modem equipment that needed to be shipped back to the company. I was instructed to take it to UPS and they would box it and return it, no additional effort was needed on my part. So I stopped by the Post & Parcel and was not disappointed. I carried the equipment in a paper grocery bag...was greeted with a warm welcome...set it on the counter...and was asked for my account number. Well...I didn't know it. Thought I'd have to run back home...but...they have a way to look it up. 3 seconds later, I was finished. Wow. Good processes and great customer service. There was no wait, I was helped immediately. We use Post and Parcel for a personal mailbox because we are posted overseas. We pay them to forward our packages; but it takes them over a month to forward a package. We have to send email after email after email. We never receive a response. Their voicemail is full. After only three months we've decided that we can't continue like this. I could not recommend against using this company enough. When you do speak with them on the phone, they are kind, but always full of reasons why they haven't been able to do XYZ. Cute little joint. I came for the notary. $10 for each persons 1st signature. If you have multiple things to notarize, it's an additional $1 for each signature after the 1st. I emailed the paperwork to their email, and they printed it off for us. The women were nice, and so were their dogs (who stayed behind the counter thankfully. I'm not a dog person, but my kid is.) I would only like for them to post their services and prices on a flyer and just increase transparency and public awareness. They do charge a little extra than what the USPS does, but I gladly pay for the convenience and speed of service. While waiting, I observed each and every employee smiling and greeting each customer and providing such personal customer service. When it was my turn, the lady told me no charge...I was like what, I thought there was a charge....her reply was I'm not charging you as a thank you for your patience. I took a recommendation from my bank officer as to whom I should go through when it came to mailing a valuable piece of mail. Normally, I would go to the post office, yet I couldn't find one today. Hence, Post and Parcel became a reasonable alternative. I was quite surprised by the level of quality customer service that I received at this establishment today. Not only did the employee give me a good price to ship my parcel- she gave me viable alternatives that I previously never considered. You also have the option of sending via Fedex, USPS, or UPS depending on your delivery priority. Of course, I noticed the other services that they had as well: notary (expected), key making (a surprise), and PO boxes and parcel supplies (expected). Although the cut-off times for mail was moved up (3 PM for USPS and others) during the week, I felt very confident sending my parcel via certified mail today as opposed to other shipping alternatives that I could have chosen. And plus, the employee listened to my concerns and helped me choose a shipping alternative that best fit the situation and not saying that they had one way and that was it (heard that one before). I will certainly return to this location for future parcel shipping. read more

Will never go here again. Was told about a phone policy and having an address while there which I get. But was told that it's so there isn't a long wait. Mind you there isn't a line and I was the only customer but then someone else gets in line behind me after I've given the address and asked about the policy. I go on heading how rude it is, how someone that would do that lacks common sense, how stupid someone must be to do that. It's the customer and owner having this conversations. This post and parcel shop is excellent. Very friendly and helpful. I've been coming here off and on for a few years, but have been 4-5 times over the last couple of weeks. Example of their great customer service: their internet was screwy last week and I couldn't afford to wait the downtime between packages as I had 9 to ship. They allowed me to leave the packages while they processed them and I returned the next day to pay. It is always the same 2-3 people working when I go in. They are extremely friendly and very helpful if you don't know how to pack your item or don't understand shipping logistics. You tell them when you want it to get there and they tell you all your options. They don't try to upsell add on stuff or make you pay for the most expensive option. Lots of stuff here. They pack, key cut, sell packing supplies, and she also sells those fancy homemade cupcakes. I ship a lot due to an online hobby and this is the best pack store that I've visited. read more

The U-Haul system for renting trucks as extremely dysfunctional. After working with the owner of Post & Parcel, she was able to get us into a truck despite the U-Haul system having totally dropped the ball. I guaranteed a reservation for 9:00am at a location a mile from here and at 8:51am, U-Haul texts me telling me "there has been a change and we need verbal confirmation you still want this truck". Of course I want it, that's why I guaranteed it with a credit card. Uhaul changed my reservation 9 minutes prior to pick up and emailed me with the signature of Post & Parcel telling me to pick up at Post & Parcel at 9:30am so I was there at 9:30am but the business does not open until 10:00am. I was there at 10:00am as well but U-Haul rented the truck out to someone else on line. I have a text from U-haul rerouting me to Post & Parcel at 8:51am and requiring me to call to confirm my reservation. Why, I have no idea. This is the entire purpose of leaving a credit card with them when reserving a truck which I had done the night before. The card guarantees my payment and they would absolutely charge my card even if I did not show up to rent the truck. This is the way the car and truck rental business works as does hotels, other rental properties and several other rental businesses. To allow a guaranteed reservation to be taken by another customer is a horrible business practice that U-Haul allowed in their system. The one saving grace is that the owner of Post & Parcel was still able to find a truck to rent to me. We lost about 90 minutes in the process because U-Haul changed my reservation 9 minutes prior to my pick-up and then rented the truck that they rerouted me to to somebody else. Were it not for this business owner dealing with this mess and fixing their horrible screw ups, we would have been totally screwed on moving day. People deploy technology and in this case, U-Haul has done a huge injustice to their customers in this and similar situations. It is completely unacceptable to text someone 9 minutes prior to pick up and tell them you are changing their guaranteed reservation. I will deal with that since it was only an additional mile down the road but when we get there and the truck was given to someone else by the U-Haul system, they have massive problems. I give the owner of Post & Parcel huge respect for fixing a problem that she should have never had to deal with. I will go out of my way to do all associated business here including shipping and truck rentals. My confidence in U-Haul is evaporated to nothing. Thank You Post & Parcel! read more

Second time coming to this business but first time actually shipping something out. First time was just dropping an item off. I would have to say that this is a much more pleasant experience than going to the post office. I feel that the post office employees are typically rude and standoff-ish. Pricing can be a bit pricey but I personally do not mind paying it knowing they will take care of everything for me as for packing and shipping. The girl working the desk that assisted me was very helpful and did everything necessary for my package going out and explained everything at each step. The people of Post & Parcel are incredibly helpful. I needed to print a resume for my husband and get it to him at work by a certain time and I was cutting it pretty close. Anyway, I had written the resume using a template from some weird free word processing program and it wasn't printing properly, so I went home to try and fix the layout problem. They told me to email them the new draft and they could print it t see if it turned out ok. I tried to fix it and sent it to them, but it was still printing weird. Then the woman helping me figured out how to fix it and edited it for me! I came by, picked up my copy on fancy paper and paid them less than 4 dollars after all the bad copies and their time!
