it has been one thing after the other with this company for one they have went up by about $65…read moresince I went in here eight months ago for another even if I'm just a few days late they charge about 15.00 late fee. They have also neglected to take the lock off that they put on after being just a couple days late.. I have never been pay with this facility, but when I come today to get things my unit, I am locked out of the gate although I am all paid up so when I call to complain that I am locked out of the gate, I am told that I have no access to the unit after office hours because I am not on auto pay. I am pretty sure it is illegal to force someone to be on auto pay. I have never been told of this nor have I ever been on auto pay. Not only have I had prank phone calls regarding my storage unit that no one knows I have besides which is very fishy. I have also had dirt and debris covering my items several times even though I haven't been here and I am pretty sure, although I cannot prove it. Have been moved around a couple of times again I cannot prove this. There are some very strange going on here and I would not trust this place if I were anyone. I am going to make sure I can get in the gate and then as soon as possible, I am going to move my things this facility. Again, I am not locked out of the gate for failure to pay. I am paid up. I am supposedly locked out because I am not on auto pay. Seems very fishy to me.

When I rented my unit, it…read morewas not explained to me that there will be an outrageous increase of rental fee within the first six months. I called to complain about the increase, the customer service said the increase was done by algorithm, I guess it means a machine that calculate the price increase according to seasonal prices, economy, and market value. There is no set percentage of increase. The increase could be more than one third. I don't know if there is any laws that protect customers from this corporate exploitation. When you put your lifetime belongings in a storage, you are already incurred expenses of moving your stuff to the storage. All you can do is move your stuff to another storage which involves more money, time, and energy. The company makes an excuse that they inform you about the increase 30 days in advance, but they don't seem to make you aware about the high increase; there is no transparency. There should be some laws that protect customers from corporate greed like this one. People are struggling to survive with a little income they have, while corporate greed is making it even harder. The rental increase should never be increased more than 20% or lower. Time is hard and people need to survive.
