Our movers were Jonathan and Quahim (he went by, "Q," and I'm not sure I spelled his name correctly), and Daniel joined them for the later part of the afternoon. My move was complex with multiple stops, and the movers were able to add pieces of furniture to the move that they weren't anticipating needing to move, stop and gather multiple items from 2 storage units, and my condo, and move everything safely and neatly to my new home. AND THEY DID IT WITH AMAZING ATTITUDES THE ENTIRE DAY IN THE POURING RAIN!!!!! I also had a junk removal done by Denys and Kyle, who were both very efficient and pleasant to work with, as well. I also need to mention Rebecca, as she was an incredible help and guide in setting up our move, and overseeing every aspect of our move, from start to completion. Response time to my inquiry and subsequent communication was great-and they actually contacted me the night before reminding me of the time they'd meet me and yep, they were on time. So far I have used them 3 times; house to storage and condo (which had stairs!), then condo to house, and finally storage to house. I was actually pleasantly surprised at how reasonable their rates are. No surprises-they tell you up front what they charge and give you an estimate. All of this over $400--which didn't even come close to covering the TV that was damaged because of his work. Instead of handling a simple problem like a professional, Gabe chose to drag this out, damage his own reputation, and lose future business. Pay with a check. This wasn't the case at all and without getting into too many details, this "business" should be investigated. They have interesting rules about how to use their dumpsters and what they will do. No organization or checklist of items or proper instructions to the workers and lots of chat on cell phones between at least one of them and the boss (who shows up to price and is only an angry voice on the other line afterwards.) The move was pathetic with broken items, nasty phone calls, employees breaking items on purpose, treating us terribly. Only to end it with a shakedown and demand for cash or no unload. Do not trust FB reviews as anything other than a decent or manufactured positive review will be deleted. For one example of honesty and fair business practices, just look at their FB page. All five stars? About as authentic as the title "movers". Look around the net before using this group or you will be sorry and unable to forget what should be a great day in one's life. The lead mover called his boss and exaggerated the situation. They took what was already in their truck and brought it back in the house and said their boss told them to leave. There was plenty of work for them to do while we took 15 minutes to clear the furniture. They were also unhappy about a very heavy granite table. When I told them that, that was why I hired 4 men, one of them said that the reason they had 4 men there was because they didn't like working Saturday and it was so they could get done faster. They are the only company out of the 5 that I contacted to have the fully web/mobile capable quote system that make the planning easy. Corey was on top of things - follow up was timely and excellent. The 3 guys who actually did the move were experienced movers - I could simply tell by watching them how they prepared the items, handle the furniture and large and small items. Also, by looking at the inside the truck - how they packed things for easy retrieval, were a good sign. They are very careful not to break things but at the same time, move things quickly to get the job down within the initial quote. They moved 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo contents from downtown Sarasota to a house that is 40 minutes away in Myakka. Very pleased with the results. I would definitely hire them again.
