I emailed back and forth with owners Robert and Angela to narrow down specifics, and they were helpful and prompt with each response. I received email reminders leading up to our move, and a phone call the morning of our move when the truck was 15 minutes out. Robert and Robert (or Rob and Bert!) arrived right on time and ready to work. They did a quick walk-thru of the space with us, where we identified which items were going where (we had to stop at a storage unit before the home we were moving into). After that, they packaged all of our items with care, and safely loaded everything onto the truck! It took around four hours to complete our move, and at around $800 total, it was well worth the price. The two Roberts were friendly, professional, and fast while still moving larger pieces carefully. We would definitely hire A&R Moving Solutions again, and highly recommend them to anyone in need of moving services in Greater Nashville.

I usually just pay for a few months at a time and then show back up in the office a week or two before it's due and pay for more months, it's really a simple process. Employees are very nice and responsive, they even have a text service so they can get in touch with you! Great experience and their rates were better than others in the area. Very easy to deal with.

Move time was noon on Saturday. I received a text from them around 11:40am saying running a few behind but would be there by 12:15pm or so. Once they showed it was a breeze! Huge truck and 5 guys, they had my 2 bed/2 bath apartment loaded into that truck in less than 30 minutes. I think the drive to the new place was longer than the load time. Again, super quick unload and they were all so kind, and very careful with your items. 3 hour minimum so I ended up paying for longer than what they worked, but that is moving company standards, and I've done that with just about every move I've ever done. While their pricing was slightly higher than other quotes we received, our previous experience with them gave us complete confidence that the job would be done right. Kimberli (one of the owners) is exceptional with communication, and every member of the crew was kind, professional, and extremely careful with our belongings. They moved a heavy cast iron tub for me from my garage to the master bathroom. They were organized…read moreand professional. I thought they had done a good job and left them a great review. However, after they left I found several issues. They dragged the tub through a tight turn, which left a mark and gouge on my hardwood floor. This also chipped the porcelain on the tub rim. I told them the tub had to be on its side to go through the bathroom door. They tried it the other way and gouged the door casing on both sides. At some point, they chipped the porcelain on the base. The owner was apologetic and promised to send someone to look at the damage. No one ever called. I fixed the chips, scratches, and gouges myself. They charged $500 for this project and kept telling me what a favor they were doing me by not charging more.

Seriously, one of my best experiences ever…read more Noone likes to move, that's assumed. And noone likes having to haul heavy boxes and awkward shaped things in and out from an event, either. I have not moved residences in 19 years, so in that regard, I feel for you if you're reading this because your life is relocating elsewhere. But I frequently manage events that have a lot of logistical supplies and just stuff that have to be loaded in and out. For years, the younger me tried to do everything all on my own, packing my Toyota SUV to the gills and making however many trips I had to. Then as things progressed, I shifted to renting a UHaul truck and again loading everything myself or with the help of my team, making however trips were needed. Three years ago, things progressed again and I outgrew the UHaul route, so in comes Two Men & A Truck. When I say these guys are fast, I mean while loading with each and every trip in and out of the building they run. Seriously, run up and down their ramps, run in and out of our office, I'd never seen anything like it. I asked if they were training for a marathon or something, and they told me no, it was just their policy to always run when on a customer's clock. Can you imagine that? When I say they are considerate, I mean I have probably done no less than a dozen moves with them by now (I know, what took me so long to write this review? IDK), and in those dozen moves, I have never had anything broken or damaged. Not even a light bulb, and I've moved a lot of lamps for check in desks. They are always prompt, sometimes even ahead of schedule a bit. Can you imagine that? The office staff while scheduling are super professional and honest about everything, and the drivers and movers have all been very pleasant and on point. So if I ever do move residences, and I sincerely hope I don't, there's no question who I will call.

We intentionally moved all fragile items prior to the move and tried to make the move as easy as possible from our one story home to another (a 10 minute commute). They didn't fully wrap our couches and scooted them along the truck, which resulted in dirty and damaged upholstery. Several dressers, tables, and items for our son's nursery were also scratched / damaged due to lack of care loading. They also told us if we wanted them work faster, we could "jump in to help" and I think my husband did a majority of the moving.... We paid for professional movers and did not receive professional service. The lack of care, accountability, and customer service was extremely frustrating. Very disappointing and would NOT recommend to anyone. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!! UPDATE: After over a week of calling daily and being redirected to different employees our issue remains unresolved. The only progress that has been made was being told "they've seen worse and are sending photos to their repair man". We even paid for the additional insurance prior to the move to avoid this back and forth. As someone days out from delivery of their first child, this is the last thing I should be spending my time focusing on. Absolutely disappointed by the lack of customer service from Two Men in a Truck. Thankfully, Two Men and a Truck made my last move (and hopefully truly the last for a while) as pleasant as moving can possibly be. I moved from the West side of Nashville to the East side and scheduling the appointment was very easy (and I appreciated that they gave me a very specific arrival time). The staff was very friendly, they worked quickly and all said, our move out of our old house and into our new house took less than 4 hours. They came exactly when they said they would and all of our items arrived without injury. I had a horrible, horrible experience with my previous movers so I was really happy that this move was headache-free.

It was a little upsetting to see how much work was left, and we were too exhausted to do it. I started calling professional movers to see if there was any chance we could get someone out immediately. i was lucky to call Move-It-Moving. Tremaine said he could be there with a crew in 20 minutes. The job involved moving everything up a flight of stairs (they were in a basement apartment) and the uHaul wasn't very close to the apartment door. It was quite a lot of work, and to make it even more complicated, it was pouring rain. Tremaine came right over, and within 90 minutes, had the entire 15 foot U-Haul packed front to back, top to bottom. They saved the day! Everything was packed with care, and arrived safely in Chicago. Thank you for accommodating our emergency,for your professionalism, and your kindness! I highly recommend Move-It Moving to anyone in the Nashville area!
