Kim is the manager of 5431 Williams , Georgetown location. From the moment we entered the building, she was extremely helpful, professional, and friendly. She showed my husband and me around, made sure we knew the " lay of the land," knew how to lock and unlock our unit, and knew the best way to use the elevator. OUTRAGEOUS!!! Only four months ago, we rented a 10x10 unit. The woman working the front desk was nice. Fast forward. We get a text this week showing their latest bill... $100 DOLLARS HIGHER!! And with no warning. They decided to increase their price of $130 monthly to $230 monthly. WOW!!! We thought it was a typo. And we didnt have some new customer discount or anything like that btw. And the burn?... The most egregious part of this. Probably 90% of their revenue and customer base are little old Grandma's and Grandpas who live round the corner in Sun City Georgetown. Most of these seniors are on a fixed income. So when anyone takes advantage of the most vulnerable of society, our children and elderly, nothing makes the blood boil more! We know people, older friends, sweet kind and trusting, who live there and they wouldn't even know that they're being legally gouged. And, without a doubt, when you see the location of this place you know their target market was the seniors who live in Sun City. There's a lot of words that come to mind but I won't put them down here, but they're as distasteful as this company's integrity or ethics. BTW, I hope other customers will call around and realize you can get the same size unit in a another climate controlled company down the road for under $100... ($130+ less than Extra Space). Started off just trying to get an idea of how large of a rental I would need for a further renovation. You won't earn any stars from me until you take responsibility for the damage your facility caused my daughters belongings. The life altering costs she has to incur to replace all of her belongings has been devastating. She even bought the insurance policy from your storage facility that was recommended by you, and got no pay out from that. The wording in your contract releases Extra Space from any liability-even if you are negligent. This is all so wrong and Extra Space should have helped my daughter with some of the costs related to your facility failing to properly climate control the space she rented resulting in the majority of her life belongings going to the dumpster. read more

I rarely leave reviews but I just had to in this case. The Extra Space Storage facility on Williams Road in Georgetown Texas is absolutely amazing. The units are always immaculate , the site mngr. there Kim always goes above and beyond to help you out. We are renting 2 more units for the second time in 6 years and I wouldn't even consider going anywhere else. We love this place and we always feel like our things are well taken care of. We have stored things with this company in Fort Worth, Arlington and Austin, Texas and have NEVER been disappointed with their service. I don't know how they do it but they have the formula for a great storage business down to a science. Anyway, do yourself a favor and use this facility. You will not be sorry. read more
