I was super impressed that they were able to lift my squat rack safely into their trailer and the fact that they were able to do it so effectively and make sure that all the details that I wanted were secure and then also making sure that my table top that was difficult to take upstairs with secure and that they made sure that the bolts were replaced. First of all, I have to say that Keith & Jose were extremely professional and patient. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They would keep up with me via calls or texts to verify, and make sure they had all the equipment to get the job done correctly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They carefully wrapped every piece of furniture that nothing was damaged and nothing was! Also, if you're from Texas, you know that moving in the summer is like an oven, yet they moved everything without complaining and held through the heat from a 3rd story to a sub story apartment in a different complex. Their price is extremely reasonable, trust me, nothing worse than finding out you have half your things broken and having to spend more money after moving! Impecable, quick, and professional are a few words that come to mind when recounting my move with Elite. From quoting to move day they delivered service that could rival the bigger companies... at a fraction of the price. They didn't need any extra direction, mostly because they came in knowledgeable, prepared, and highly capable. They even used tape to repair some furniture that was damaged before the move. This speaks to the integrity and philosophy of this small town moving company, and it's simplistic business model that cuts costs for them, but most importantly, for the purpose of this review, YOU. Here's how the process started [[HIGHLIGHT]]We reached out on yelp. They were prompt with a reply, and even recalled qoute information done before we reached out by phone.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Once things were solidified by phone (date, addresses, moving load), they reached out intermittently during the month wait until the move requesting further information and a picture of everything that was being moved.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Come move day, I shot a text 15 minutes before the scheduled time of service asking if they had tape. They responded instantly, confirming they had tape and other packing essentials that even the most prepared miss[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] (and I assure you, I was very prepared). They showed up, ask a few questions and promptly put boots to deck. We put everything we could into boxes color coded with duct tape. I feel like this is generally the way you should present your belongings to movers. It cuts down on time and space. They were done with the first truckload in less than 1hr 30min... if that. I didn't even have time to get into my playlist designed to cushion the wait. Despite a logistics issue with the leasing office, they completed the move in about 4-5hrs. An hour and a half of that time was spent sitting and waiting for us to get the keys. Time they didn't charge us for. They even noticed the color coded system for the boxes and organized them accordingly. This transaction took place without the back and forth other companies employ to determine how much work they'll be doing. Elite just shows up, takes stock, and gets it done. They seemed like they had lives to get back to, which made the service quick. Unlike movers who pace themselves to run the clock. They didn't want to be there any longer than they had to be. The total price was $560. I don't know if I can provide that information, but it's literally the best price you're going to get for a local move in Killeen. When they first pull up, you'll have this "oh @#$*, what did I just commit to" moment but they will surprise you... I assure you! P.S. They are very easy on the eyes. I was in a business state of mind, so I didn't notice, but my roommate giggled in glee constantly during the tranaction.
