She calls when I've forgotten to pay a month, and takes care of it instantly with my info. She cares and asks about me and my family. She sends emails to keep me up to date with changes as the city of Georgetown worked on their street entrance (now finished) and assisted and directed me in getting there after all that construction! The grounds are always clean. When I'm hot (or cold) the office has heat and a/c. The bathroom is clean and accessible when the office is open! Definitely consider this unit! The gentleman that assisted us were very welcoming and friendly and they had a great promotion for a 5x10 storage for $49 a month so we took it! Also, we had our u-haul trailer that needed to get dropped off at another location, but we were able to drop it off at Storage Max which saved us time and made it so much easier! Waiting in the dark being eaten alive by misquitos...Finally after an hour someone from Uhaul was able to help us. The only other truck available was an hour away - but we had to take it - as our movers will be here tomorrow morning at 5am....now we won't even get home until 1am. I just moved to the Georgetown area from California and needed a small storage unit for a couple of…read moremonths. I googled storage units and this one popped up. It showed there was a 5x5 available for under $30.00 so I chose it because it looked clean and is close to my apartment. As soon as I walk in I notice the manager Katrina give me and my friend a dirty look and did not even greet us. I asked if there was a 5x5 available cause that's what it showed online and she said she didn't know but would look. after looking for 5 mins she rudely informed me that the only thing available was climate controlled as if I still wouldn't book it. I said I would take it, she asked if I want to do the 1 free month or 35% off monthly. I said the free month since I only needed it for two months. She proceeds to tell me its $54.00, I pay and then ask her what that takes me to. She said only June, I ask her I thought I got a free month and she rudely again says I haven't paid anything. I asker her what the $54.00 was that I just paid for then and she says it was for the admin, lock and insurance fee...Not once did she go over pricing with me or tell me what I was paying for, all she said was to swipe my cards. So then I tell her ok well then I want to pay for the month, she charges me an additional $53.00 for the month. I managed a storage facility for 3 years and know this is not how you run one. Super rude management who doesn't go over pricing or any hidden fees, I shouldn't have to pay for insurance or at least inform me that I have to pay for it as well as an admin fee. She also did not tell me how to use the gate code or how to get in or where my unit was located, I had to figure everything out on my own. The whole time we were there I felt like we were inconveniencing her. The two stars is for the gated property and how clean the inside of the unit was but I would not recommend renting here. I wish I would of taken my things else where but after just driving 1,500 miles I was all ready exhausted.

Their payment system, although doesn't accept a chip, accepts more than one payment option as well. The property has plenty of parking, is clean, and setup for social distancing (one customer at a time). They have plenty of supplies for packing needs as well. Elisha, Earnest, and past employees are hard working and sweet, and they try to understand my payment needs and help as best they can. At the end they handed a large, professional placard to write a review. Of course, I let them know I'm a Yelper! No harm done ... I would come back based on these experiences. Thank you!
