Thankfully I called Guardian and they made it happen! They showed up either right on time or a few minutes early all 3 days of my move (yes you are reading that correctly) and did not stop working once they arrived. Their pricing was fair and they loaded everything as efficiently as possible. We had a lot of stuff and multiple beds/bunk beds that needed assembly and reassembly. Barry the driver was the only employee there all 3 days but the other ones I met worked hard and did great the days they were there. Moving is stressful but Guardian made it as easy as it could possibly be for a last second cross state move. They give you 1 price on the front end and don't nickle and dime you to death. I don't leave reviews but this one is well worth it. Be wary of their lower rating on here; looks like some frustrated part time movers to me. Take it from someone who got great service for a 5 BR family home; go with Guardian and stop stressing about who will move your stuff!

They have demonstrated over the last 5 years that their business model is based on deception of customers and fraud. Other customers agree with me: yelp.com/biz/devon-self-... On April 28, 2017 I rented a small storage locker at Devon Self Storage. I was then paying $54 per month, which included mandatory insurance costing $10 per month. In October of 2018 Devon raised my monthly fee to $59 per month, and in March 2019 Devon raised my fee to $64 per month. That is an 18% increase since origination - and in less than 2 years. Examination of Devon's accounting books by the Attorney General's Office would likely reveal that they intentionally structured rate increases into all of their customer accounts several months after service was initiated - not telling customers that these were planned from the beginning, and not a result of unanticipated increased costs of doing business. They smartly structure their customer encounters so as to treat customers graciously when they initially establish service. Devon initially grooms their customers just as pedophiles groom their victims in preparation for a later assault. Then 6 months later the rate increases begin. BBB scores for Devon facilities in the Memphis area are generally low - no wonder. This nationwide company has been scamming customers by giving them multiple incremental rate increases after they establish service. Devon's business model is fraud and racketeering. Devon Self Storage creates its own 5-star Google reviews in its social-media department. And they pay Google to delete all bad reviews, as they did mine. Devon Self Storage is a Fountain of Fraud.
