I had to literally dump off piles and piles of rat and mice poop that was covering every box and surface in my unit. Not only that, but clothing items are ruined from mouse urine. It smells awful... This is absolutely disgusting and unsanitary. For nearly $100 this should not be happening. Ever. Horrible quality. I am so upset about my things being ruined, I have been paying for insurance on my unit... Let's see if this is even covered!!!! the pictures I took do not do the heinous conditions justice... Save yourself the headache and nausea, go **literally** anywhere else For storage!!!!

This is the worst company you can ever deal with ,they are very deceptive and the customer service…read morefrom the 800 # is horrible.They charged me some crazy late fee,meanwhile I only had the unit for 1 month,apparently the late or auction fee was because I rented the unit on 8/30 with the first month free and I was told I owed 1 day ($20.62) for the last day of August.On 9/30 I'm told the unit is going into foreclosure and I have to pay a $62 and change late fee, to avoid auction.I immediately call the toll free # and talk to a rep ,I pay the stupid fee and was told they would put a request for a credit to my account for the upcoming next month's payment.Guess what happened ,if you guessed they didn't credit me the $62 and change late fee your absolutely right,not only that they raised the rent almost 100 dollars for a shabby outside simple 10x20 unit.This doesn't even seem legal.I feel sorry for the customer reps,when you talk to them they seem well meaning ,but they can't seem to justify these unreasonable fees that they're enslaved to enforce.I used storage facilities in different parts of the U.S. while deployed overseas in the U.S.Navy in the early 2000's and have never dealt with this type of deception with any storage company.Dealing with Public Storage Corp.has really been an eye opener.

Safeguard no longer offers any customer loyalty programs like their predecessor did, will not allow you to pay for the entire year and raised prices immediately. I would NOT recommend doing business with a business that does not value or respect their customers, and that is exactly the impression I am getting.

She says we lock the door at quarter of. Male employee comes to door and many words exchanged including " bro" and " I don't get overtime" and " come back tomorrow " . She says your key is right here you're all set and they lock up again before 7 pm. I let them go home , my mistake. Stood in the rain for mobile instructions and , lo and behold, the only cargo van that is double parked and blocked behind another is MY rental. Add Incompetence to the lousy lazy customer service. Yes, I called next day and got the refund , store manager was very nice and I appreciate that but I was leaving at 6am next morning with all the furniture so "come back at 7 am " was impossible..... really incapable and avoidable issues here.

So, we of course had to find a place to store all her worldly possessions and CubeSmart over the "Hill" from her place was suggested, so off we went to get her a unit. We got there just as it opened and Michele was all smiles and super friendly, gave us all the particulars we needed to know and showed us a few cubes. We opted for a unit that was split into two smaller spaces 1 for furniture and the other for her other "stuff". They have nice flat carts to transport stuff from the truck or car to the inside endless hallways of storage units. I will say this, they do have a free truck you can use to haul larger items, and we would have loved to have been able to use this, but because they do not have a night key drop box, the CubeSmart the truck must be rented when an employee is on duty. Sadly we missed this opportunity by 1 minute- literally 1 MINUTE, so we had to go to U-Haul- that's in another review. All in all a good experience and Michele was a gem!

On 7/29/2019 I reported Seklou displayed the best of arrogance, abusive tone, keeping me on hold for hours , imitating my accent, laughing at the background while I was on hold. I emphasized the importance of staff being professional and the worst thing is he refused to allow me to speak with Rita who was very very nice. Is that conflict of interest? It is reporting a horrible service from their employee. Rita was very professional and polite.
