I hired. 3 young men, Nilly, Daniel, & Christopher arrived at my home all wearing masks " good morning ma'am" introduced themselves, etc. I have to admit, at 1st I questioned my choice! I guess because they looked so young and small. Well I was wrong! These young men were incredible! They worked hard, we had a lot of furniture including many pieces that we wrapped ourselves that were glass and fragile! We are still unpacking a week later, the great news is NOTHING was broken. These boys helped us organize the boxes to each room, stacked the boxes in the garage properly. They had all their equipment to work and handle heavy items. I highly recommend Two Men & a Truck because of Christopher, Billy, and Daniel! The foreman was polite, professional, and did his best, but the rest of the crew did not seem adequately trained or attentive. They took furniture apart and put screws and hardware in their pockets instead of giving them to me so I could bag and label everything. They completely disconnected the power cords from our reclining couches and failed to keep the components together. Several boxes were dropped during the move, and one of our bookcases was damaged because it was dragged across landscaping rocks instead of being wheeled across the asphalt. Truck space was used inefficiently, so not all of our belongings fit. We ended up having to rent a U-Haul and move the remaining items ourselves, which completely defeated the purpose of hiring movers. At the new house, things became even more frustrating. The crew didn't listen to instructions, ignored clearly labeled boxes, and paid no attention to the labels posted on the doors identifying each room. Instead of placing items where they belonged, they piled everything wherever there was space, creating unnecessary work for us afterward. Overall, the move felt chaotic from beginning to end. I repeatedly gave instructions that were ignored, and I never felt heard or respected as the customer. While the foreman was courteous, the overall experience was careless, disorganized, and disappointing.

The delivered and beat her up expectations! My mom had so much trouble in the past with movers damaging many things during the move and she couldn't be happier that Joe's Moving didn't damage a thing! In addition to that, she said the crew was very very polite and kind, worked quickly but still very cautious not to damage any items or the home moving in or out, and did a great job organizing and loading up and unloading everything she needed moved. She also wanted to mention that she was very impressed with Darrel and how well he was training a new employee during the move and how well the new employee was doing what he was being trained on. Not a bad thing to say about the company of the men who moved her belongings! Joe's Moving company is the man to call when you are ready to move!

I am currently paying HALF of what I paid to the mainstream storage place (hint, they are all over town and have a green and white logo, their name begins with the word "extra"). In addition, the on-site office folks are super warm and friendly. It's also a large facility, with a lot of space to maneuver vehicles. You can rent storage units here, or spaces for vehicles such as cars, trucks, RVs and boats. My stored items in my unit stay much cleaner, I think this is because it's an older facility, with better-built structures. The hours are super convenient: 7 am - 9 pm 365 days a year. Icing on the cake is that I have a beautiful Sandia mountain view from my unit! I absolutely love this place and would give it 10 stars if I could.

I also specifically asked them how many pounds of personal items can I put in the Trailer - JUST personal items. I was told 900 pounds. I asked the same question numerous times to be sure I could put 900 pounds in the trailer. Well they flat out lied to me. After I paid $526.20 to put a hitch on my vehicle I found out I can only put 400 pounds in the trailer. This isn't enough and now days before I'm supposed to leave and out over $500 I have to find alternative methods to move. I would NOT use this facility every again. They are liars and just want your money
