My first time there the dial pad and screen at the entrance were broken. Eventually I got in. I couldn't find my unit (because it was inside a poorly marked building). When I went to the front office and knocked, the young guy just said "this is an exit only door" ...but he did at least tell me where my unit was. Most storage places are nice enough to show you or at least tell you where your unit is. Not this guy. The second time I went there with movers, nearly a month later. The keypad was even MORE broken, when I buzzed for assistance and asked them to open the door, the same guy popped his head out of door and said "yeah I just sticks." No further help. Eventually I got in with another persons passcode since it didn't require any of the "sticky" buttons. The employee was rude rude rude and they still haven't fixed the keypad. I'm moving out at the end of July to Extra Space storage. They're cleaner, and nicer. There are better options than Devon.

When I placed my order, the representative told me he was viewing an aerial photograph of my property and confirmed that the 16-foot container could be placed in my backyard. I relied on that assurance and scheduled movers to fill the POD the day after my scheduled delivery. The morning of the delivery, the driver called me and told me the container could not be placed on my lawn. He canceled my delivery without notifying me! I found out via email. The email falsely stated that I had canceled the order. PODS accepted my order based on a placement they had supposedly reviewed and approved, only to reject it at the last minute--leaving me scrambling to find another container with my movers already scheduled. The driver was argumentative, and he never even came to the property. The underlying problem is that PODS assured me in advance that the requested placement was possible without properly determining whether it actually was. This caused enormous stress, wasted time, and potentially substantial additional expense. Customers should not be given assurances by sales representatives that the delivery team will not honor. Extremely poor customer service.
