Well you're supposed to anyway. This particular Chevron is ridiculously outdated. The screens on the gas pumps are so old and damaged that it's nearly impossible to read what it says. I had to go wait in line inside to pay for my gas because I fought with payment at the pump for longer than I had patience for. The gas pumps themselves are an older style which you never see around anymore. You have to lift the lever that the nossle is held in to get the gas to start pumping, no buttons. The instructions aren't very clear either. The orientation of the station, and the locations of their driveways make for a very confusing user experience as well. They could benefit from having some signage specifying the pumps are only one way. I witnessed people coming in the other driveway trying to cut people off at the pump who have been waiting from the other end. Hopefully this location will consider a remodel in the near future. I look forward to updating my review at that time.

The second vaccine trip went fine, but we did not go into the room with the green +, and instead lined up around the greeting card area (weird). As for the items, they usually have a clearance section if thrift is your thing. At the time I was searching for some of the Cadbury eggs. I found some, and the small eggs too... but they turned out to be dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate. Guess customers went crazy for the latter!

Finally manager said we did put item on the cart and the camera showed us putting all of our groceries in our car. Unless they have cameras behind Sonics, not sure how they're able to verify this since our car was parked all the way to the end. Manager explained they're not allowed to show us the video or picture due to their policy. The item was only $15.99, they treated us like we stole it. What probably happened was the item got left behind since they don't offer bags anymore, and person behind us took it. Never coming back again, unless I want to be treated like a criminal or racially targeted. Instead of helping the customer the manager was very condescending towards us. Tip for the higher management: Provide customer-facing HR or communication training for the grocery manager. This would give them better tools to support shoppers and resolve service issues smoothly.

While I was at the store, I returned them because the price was ridiculous. It was 50 strips for $44.78, but at the CVS by Boronda, it was just $18+. Be vigilant. Always check the price online.
