They are some of the rudest people I've encountered in a store. My kids and I went to get Slurpees one day. After he scanned all of them, he did that shoo hand motion telling them to move like they were some strays. I told them they didn't have to be so rude to children. And they laughed. I can't even believe they're still open. I seen one of them chase a homeless person down and throw their ashtray at them. I'd rather travel farther from home than ever step foot at this 7-11. I lived in town for 40 years and used to go here all the time. Always clean inside and items well stocked. Always friendly staff working. Once I drive up to buy something and I immediately turned around when I saw five police cars outside, and six policemen, with their guns drawn, surrounding the store. Apparently it was an armed robbery in progress. So exciting to see. I don't think the robber got very far. But it is a great store. read more

Went in here and bought a couple protein bars and they forgot to put one in the bag. When I went in there and told the dude that rang me up he got mad and said I was trying to fuck him and ended up calling the cops over one damn protein bar! I was like I just got told to wear one, what the heck. If you are going to scold someone for NOT wearing one then the employees should be following the same rules. Fairly decent convenience store, being right on Main Street it does tend to get a bit crowded specially when the lotto craze hits. They also do have a Redbox, but often is out of commission. They don't carry as many soft drinks as they use to, they seem to have more beer in stock which I guess makes sense. read more

I went in at 11p.m. for a refill of a Slurpee, and decided to order their pizza; but it's not a frozen pizza but cool-plastic wrap fresh- looking pizza. Not a bad pizza, I will say, it look & taste better than Little Caesars pizza hot'n'ready pizza; & in just 2 1/2 minutes. The guy asked me if I wanted to cooked a little longer, oh yeah; a 1000° oven for extra 30 seconds, dang 3 minute pizza! ( I want that oven, no doubt). It tastes pretty good when I got home, nice & hot when I got home. The two stars missing, one, they can't add extra sauce or extra cheese to their pizza, and two, no Coca-Cola Slurpee, come on now! read more

I live close to and visit a 7-11 @1305 N Main St, Salinas, CA 93906.  I frequent this 7-11 twice a day for my daily morning coffee and afternoon bottled 7-11 iced tea.   My experience with this store has been tops great service and always had product that I wanted on hand.  Angel previous Store owner sold this store to a new family a couple months ago and you can tell they are a bit in the dark with how to run a Store.  I would think some type of franchise workshop would take place to have new owners and employees run business seamlessly.  My daily visits with being there only 10- 20 minutes daily I have identified the following issues.  This Store serves cold coffee in the morning no one seems to be monitoring how fresh the coffee is its more as if the pots not empty so its still good. The Ice Tea in 7-11 branded plastic bottles of Ice Tea are never in stock more so seems never ordered since the new owner has taken over no tea just juice and punch and lots of them...but no tea I would think tea would be number 1 seller.  Also Fritos Corn Chips I don't even get this one no Fritos Brand Corn Chips what so ever.  I asked for Fritos and was told Sure my man they are behind you....no those are Cheetos not Fritos.  He asked another gentleman who said the same sir behind you and over in row 3 all Cheetos but not one bag of Fritos, not BBQ, Chili, not plain, not Curly, no big bags ..no little bags.  None.   There are many other items that seem to be missing that once were available Chips, peanuts, baked goods...etc.. the cashier was throwing trash and gathering trash near the nacho and drink station pushing trash down I to the trash bag with his hands then without changing gloves or washing touched and gathered drink lids. Some of these lids handled by others were put back into the lid dispenser. Lastly I was at the register paying for my goods and and a Homeless Gentlemen was outside the door.  He was counting his money and was not panhandling just counting his change.  He entered set his backpack down next to the door and started to walk to the cooler.  before he could take a step 2 store associates one the manager yelled at him very loudly telling him "no" you can not be in here.  "why" he asked "I have money and I'm a paying customer.  They said no get out.  I don't know if this guy did something in the past but the way it was handled in front of all the store customers was not very professional.    All in all these new folks don't seem to have their act together. I spoke via email to a Corp. Customer service representative who offered me gift coupons for my trouble and promised he'd look into it. I waited a month before posting this review hoping he would do something about my concerns but nothing has changed including no coupons. So it's hit and miss and I won't but made food here I don't believe they understand food safety safety procedures fully. Beware! read more

Don't ever let your sister, wife, mother or any other female go in there by herself. Staff is just disgusting they will hit on everything that walks on 2 legs. My girlfriend went in there one time while i was waiting in the car and i see the clerk talking to my girlfriend and keep looking at me through the window so i walk inside and ask if everything is ok. Of course he didn't say anything. After we left my girlfriend told me that he asked for her instagram and Facebook account she told him "no" and that she has a boyfriend and he is sitting in car. This place has yummy coffee! It's always hot and brewed fresh! I like all of the options for coffee and fixings :) the only downside is parking. Sometimes in the am, there's nowhere to park which is when I just continue to work unhappy... :) read more

My typical go to for a energy drink and lotto scratch cards or picks. I usually go once a week here it's on my daily commute to work so its a nice fast quick stop for me . I have bought slurpee also and they are very good . One main recommendation is there ice cold coffee , no ice but it's cold and they have vanilla and mocha. I purchase this on those hot mornings for my commute. The employees here know my regular already . It's nice and friendly and I will continue to come here . read more

Was better a few months ago. The new employees are rather rude when it comes to service. I don't get told my total. They don't say anything. They don't look at me either. They look around the store as if annoyed people are in there. I miss the other employees who were curtious and smiled, as well as provided good customer service. read more
