We picked up some made in house tortillas, cheese, candies and pan dulce. Typically my experience with grocery store pan dulce has been less than great... the bread is often dry and/or bland, but not here. Their bread is quite good. Love this market and food From the cosina but there has been issues with them getting the order right. Ordering food can be expensive and when they miss up. My daughter's food came with onions and cilantro when description didn't say it was on her quesodia. There was no options to add modify food. The delivery service didn't fix the problem offered 3$ on my 12$ purchase. Called the store spoke to the manager and they said they could not do anything. I will still order food but do it via phone. Well, I took advantage of walking through on a weekday morning. This place is huge. Lots of produce and fruits as well as a huge meat counter and an equally large deli counter. Ideally, a glorified restaurant with a market attached to it. The staff was helpful. The prices are slightly higher than competing stores in the area, but you are really paying for the convenience of a one stop shopping experience. read more

I love this place. They have every Hispanic/ Mexican...It is their hot food section though that is stellar! They have chicharon, intestines, burritos, etc! All made or made to order! Serious good stuff! Service is good but helps if you are Spanish speaking. Ambiance is nice and clean unlike smaller mercados and they even have a dining area. First time here, just looking at this new store, it's pretty impressive. Its big with lots of different departments. Seen people trying to use their EBT cards at the food court/cocina and it won't work there. They were told they need to go to the main checkout for it to work. We got their 12 piece fried chicken, when we got home it was actually 13 pieces. It was pretty good for only 11.99. Also tried their grilled corn, extra large tortillas and some small chunks of carnitas, also good. The best deal was the 72oz Agua Fresca in a giant Container for only 9.99. I also got a large fresh squeezed juice called Vitamin C. It was nice and refreshing. Their tamales From the hot bar are small , dry, tuff and chewy for 3.00 each. They weren't fresh. Wouldn't get these again. Really disappointed in this marzapan gelatina. There's no flavor at all in the gelatin. All the flavor comes from the small amount of whipped cream on top and a thin carmel on the bottom.Won't get this again. I came back to try the guava gelatina and it's just as flavorless as the marzapan. Won't get these again. Tried their corn pie. I thought it was corn bread but I was wrong. It's more like sweet corn cake. It's made with kernels of corn inside a flour base. It was different but it was good. Lastly I tried their guava Agua Fresca. I think it's made with milk, which i didn't care for and didn't really have any guava flavor. Wouldn't get this again either. They have a 5.00 sushi deal on Wednesday's might try that. Bad experiencing with HR manager! I ended up applying here thinking it was a good choice. I ended up getting an interview here in the MORNING even had to MISS SCHOOL! When I got there I asked for EVELYN she told them to tell me to take a seat at the tables. As I'm patiently waiting couple minutes pass by nothing.. just to see Evelyn pass by going into the kitchen then thru the meat department WAITED AN 1hr1/2 for her to not even do my interview she literally avoided me because she had even passed by me!!! this store has to do better honestly. I was told that this place has great tacos so I figured I would come by. This place lost a star because the people in the food area were too preoccupied chitchatting and joking with each other to help customers. There was about 4 other people waiting to try to get food. But one of the boys from the next area came to help me. I got a burrito with the chile verde style meat and it was delicious! Will definitely get it again. I love shopping here very pleasant not too crowded and fast service at cashier, clean and well arranged organized shelves and items fast food and bakery are clean and more choices of foods . I love the breads in the glass shelves so many varieties. Went to buy meat for tacos and the meat was EXTREMELY salty, way too much seasoning on it, wish it was light seasoned but seems like they go overboard with that. I have bought meat there before and haven't had a problem with it but just this meat that's already seasoned is a big no. Don't recommend! Season your self at home. They have a good variety of prepped goods including hot tamales, salsas, pan dulce, flan, gelatinas, cakes, quesos huge meat dept, fresh tortillas. The reason for the low review I bought 2 lbs of ceviche de camaron because it looked so darn good. HOWEVER, when I got home to eat it I noticed that the shrimp wasn't deveined there was black stuff everywhere. I expected better quality to be honest. Specially at $9.99 / lb. Purchased masa for tamales. After opening to prepare to make tamales I smelled a sour odor. Didn't realize it was the masa until I made a few tamales and realized that's where the smell was hiding. Also, the guy at the guacamole station wouldn't make me a fresh batch without certain ingredients because he had already started to clean up although his station sign stated he still had 45 minutes left of being open. Pretty good spot to get whatever you may need last minute. Order ahead if you can, lines tend to be long for their kitchen area. Plenty of parking and employees to help. Tried the Chile Rellenos and pretty good. Can't beat their selection of grocery items from fresh to frozen to shelf items. Tried a pineapple tamale for the first time and definitely recommend it. This place is a mess. I stood in line for 45 min for a agua fresca. Everyone was lost. Customers and employees alike. Nobody knew if there was 1 line, 2 lines. 3 lines. People were jumping the line in front of people that had been waiting a long time. Not on purpose but because it was unorganized. They were calling peoples names to pay and people were that has been waiting a longer time than the people being called were angry because they had been waiting longer. Then u had people that had ordered online cutting the line. Everyone was asking how the line system worked, nobody knew. I asked 3 employees and not a single one knew the system. Its friday morning. Delicious tacos. Best part and what is key for me is that the tortillas were fresh, nice and soft as they are made in house. Had asada, tripas (aka chittterlings or chittlins) and pastor. The Asada was delicious, seasoned very well, the pastor was good but it lacks the pineapple tidbits for my liking and the tripas could have used salt and would be better if they were a bit crispy, however if you prefer them to be chewy then you'll like these. Their red salsa is very good, it is better than the green salsa. The chicharron looks very good , but I didn't try it this time. The fried chicken was alsoo delicious, very well seasoned and crispy. You can tell that the staff is still getting the hang of things but were friendly and got my prder right and with a smile. The soups are awful!! I've ordered every kind of soup they have on several occasions to give them the opportunities to improve and every time its overly salted, other times all you taste is the salt in the soup. This store is down the street from me which is very nice. Been here a few times now and never any issues. Bought ceviche twice, pozole and guac along w standard grocery items. Service is fine. I drive 30 minutes just to shop at this store. I call it the Mexican Whole Foods Right off the bat you will notice how clean this store is. It's wonderful! The produce is neatly stacked and visible, as well as all their other products throughout the store. The meat is all USDA certified & beautifully displayed. The tortillas are "made" in house & you can buy them warm right out of their machine. Unfortunately I do agree with other reviewers that the burritos aren't the best. I'm not sure if it's just the ratio in toppings (our burrito was given 4 scoops of refried beans ). It was way too much and made it taste mushy. The line for the hot food is a little confusing, but we figured it out. You just stand there until someone helps you lol! The fresh squeezed juices are refreshing. I highly recommend grabbing one on your way in! Overall, I will definitely be returning to this store when I am in the area! read more
