My review only gives 2 stars because the guy at the wash entrance was LESS than enthused with spraying my car pre-wash. Then I get to the drying area and the two guys were bitching and ticked off because the car wash was open for business during Labor Day weekend. And they didn't do a very good job of drying my car. It needed a detailing, but I did not know that, never having had a car detailed, only rarely giving it a good clean. I could not see the point of having the car detailed in winter, so I waited until summer to schedule it. Darren called to confirm our appointment, arrived at scheduled time. He had the tools he needed, and the knowledge how to use them. His cleaning emphasized the interior, though clean shining blackwall tires, and a waxed exterior are evidence he did not ignore the outside. The interior is as clean as it has been in years. Two and a half hours of his work, and I am one happy driver. The bad news is that having experienced a well done detailing, I might not be so ready to tolerate the cruddy interior which had not bothered me before. And I will definitely call Distinctive Shine when the time comes. Although I might suggest to my daughter that there is no Christmas present I have received recently which so delighted me. Pehaps she will take the hint and get me another one next year.

I set up an appointment and Darren came out to the house on Saturday and worked on the car from 8 am to 4 pm and by the time he was done the car looked amazing . Absolutely did a great job on the car. If you are a car nut like myself you become very particular about how your car is washed to minimize scratches and what products are used. Darren used top brand products was professional and worked hard and the results were clear. To top it off his pricing for his service is very reasonable. Points to consider when going to ModWash: 1) Membership is a better value than a one time wash. Even the less expensive plan will get the job done and if you average one wash a week, your dollar goes a long way. 2) Some locations have a mat cleaner, a machine you insert your dirty mats and it will clean them. Take advantage of the compressed air, the cleaning sprays, vaccum and the wipe down towels if you have time to polish up your ride. 3) Many locations make it much more convenient to get your car cleaned up. Just on the south side, I see Bridgeville and Washington alone with 3 locations... Decent service and overall recommended.
