He dropped the vehicle off in the morning. The owner said that his employees had called off work, so the cleaning of our vehicle would be done around mid-day. The possible packages were Exterior Only, Interior Only, Gold Standard, Executive, and Show Room. Prior to the drop-off, the SUV had fairly clean seats but a dirty dashboard, mats, etc. My husband thinks that he ordered the Executive package for roughly $300. I should have taken pictures, but I took my car (a 4th Gen 4Runner) there and was very impressed with the work - the mats and carpeted surfaces were shampooed, the detailing on the tires and chrome pieces was well done, and the value for all they did was very reasonable. I have my cars detailed at PCD for some time now. Brad is more than fair and goes out of his way to make sure he and his staff not only satisfy the customer, but make them delighted. The detail work inside my cars are phenomenal and better than other car detailers I have used in the past. I have a 2013 Rav4 XLE and the plan is to sell it. After getting it back from Brad, I am not sure I really want to sell it as it looks like new again. I took my car here to be detailed. I was concerned about the cleaning products used because I have a young son who is sensitive to cleaning products and fragrances. The owner couldn't have been nicer and assured me they use mild and safe products. When I picked up my car, I was amazed at how it looked. It looked brand new! We reserved a day and time for our car to be detailed. When we arrived the young guy at the desk couldn't find our reservation and had to make phone calls to see if we were on the schedule. Finally he came back and said that we were and he didn't even know the levels of services offered. Not a good sign to begin with but we preserved. Booked an executive package for wife's birthday. Never emailed me any of the info or price quote that I asked for. Showed up the day of the detail and dropped the car off at 8 AM. The car was done at 3 PM. Well over the four hours that the website states. Also there is a dent and scratch above the rear passenger door that was not there when the car was dropped off. And the only thing that the guy who rang me out could say was that he was sorry and did not know how that could happen. I would feel much better if they had cameras or something that they could check. I would not recommend this place to anybody because of that. Update. So took a closer look at the inside of the Car the day after since I was in such a bad mood yesterday after noticing the dent. While the inside of the car looks ok the truck still has a ton of dog hair in it. I'm seriously wondering why I paid $200 for this level of quality. Returning around 5 pm to find the car was not done, I agreed to return the next day to allow additional time to finish the detailing. The following morning i received a text that my car was ready. Upon arrival the first thing I noted was a roof had not been washed. Further inspection revealed a car that was not washed completely, areas not vacuum. Tl;dr - After the job Nathan and team did detailing my dad's car, he no longer wants to sell it! My dad's car has always been a mess. He travels a lot of work and vacuuming the carpets is about all the cleaning he's prepared to do. But after nearly a decade in the same car, it was beginning to feel a bit sad. So sad he has been talking about selling it and getting something newer. So for Christmas, I figured I'd get him a gift certificate for a car detailing so he didn't have to do a deep clean before selling it. I found Pittsburgh Car Detail which is in a convenient location for him and scheduled it for him through their website. I opted for the Gold Standard and got the carpets shampooed. He got a confirmation email and they were really accommodating when he had to reschedule. The whole thing took about 2 hours. He called me after picking it up and said how amazing it looked. My wife had her car detailed a week ago and I have to say that they did a terrible job. We did complain about streaks on the hood and the owner said "you can't expect it to be perfect." We did not notice how bad it was until we got home. She was supposed to get the gold level with the paste wax added. She got at best a spray wax and that was done right over the road dirt and bug splatter. Being an SUV, I think they thought we wouldn't notice that the roof had no wax at all. I had to redo the dash, the windshield and wax the roof. The only bright spot was that they did a great job on the tires and wheels. I'm very disappointed because I had my car done there two years ago and they did a beautiful job. Change in ownership? They do not pay attention to detail, and that's exactly what they are supposed to do! We will not be returning to Pittsburgh Car Detail! read more

Im not a complainer, I don't look for free stuff. I do expect honesty and respect from a business though. 1). Set up "appointment" and order service via credit card two weeks ahead. Pick date and time on their calendar. Automated response says we will receive phone call. Two days before scheduled appointment, still no phone call. We had to call them 2) get there on day of appointment and guy looks at the Pilot. Says ok. We ask when he thinks it will be done, he says a time and we ask if he can do ours next as we don't have ride after a certain time. He says OK. 3) Get call back that he wants to up-charge us because the floors have pine needles and the Pilot is big (keep in mind he just looked at it an hour earlier and said OK). 4) Tells me the center counsel is a disaster and that I must use this as a work truck. The center counsel is "dirty" but there is nothing in it as I removed all trash and receipts, etc prior to bringing it to them. 5) After talking on the phone with this "animated" individual I decided Id rather just get money back and not deal with them. When I pick up the pilot I find he has taken a hand full of needles and dirt from the floor and thrown it into my center counsel. See pick below. Then put the floor mat back in backwards. 6) Horrible way to run a business, horrible way to talk to customers and then add acting like a 4 year old. Never going there. Gonna let as many people in the area know my story as possible. read more

I made an appointment a week in advance but had to show up 45 minutes late. The shop was very busy so I told them I would pick up the car the following day to give them more time. No good deed goes unpunished. They told me they would put the car inside overnight. It was left outside. Nothing was done to the exterior of the car so I had to wait while they started and completed the exterior all the while burning up rental car time. To top it off I would have gotten the same quality or better by taking it to a $30 car wash. The car was dirty inside, no stains removed from the cloth seats. I just happened to drive by and got to ask the nice detail man Steve about their services and he got me an appointment exactly when it was convenient for me. The day of the detail appointment Steve graciously dropped me off to do some window shopping while I waited. I got an exterior hand wax and wash for $99 and how beautiful my car looked! Steve worked hard and after all that muscle work was just as pleasant as when he started the work and patiently showed me all the little details and gave me tips for dealing with baked on bug guts that wouldn't strip my clear-coat off. Excellent service! The team fit me into a busy Saturday for an interior detailing. They stayed open late to finish my vehicle and when I arrived they invited me to inspect the job which was well done. I haven't seen my car look that clean since I bought it 3 years ago!
