I'll start with the good first…read more This is a hotel restaurant and my experience with those can be very hit or miss. We have dined here in the past (this is our fourth time) and the food was has been great every time. Once again it didn't disappoint and everything was really enjoyable. We had the crab cakes - a must, the Drift salad - always refreshing and light, and the red snapper - delicious! The service was also mostly good, although they left dirty plates on our table after saying they were going to take them twice and it was a small table so it was not ideal. Now the big thing that knocked a star off for me is this: When we were seated it was at a table with regular dining chairs. I'm recovering from a lower back and hip injury and asked when we were taken to the table if we could be switched to the small empty booth behind us as it looked like much more supportive and thicker cushions. I was informed that it was reserved for a table of four. There was a second of these booths the same size seating a couple, and a larger third booth that was empty that remained so for the majority of our meal. A few minutes after we were sat, they seated only two women at that first booth. The couple at the second booth finished shortly after that, leaving the second and third booth empty for the majority of our meal, (in addition to other tables) . It wasn't until we were almost wrapping up that the last booth ended up used. They seated a couple at that booth meant for 4-6 people. I spent the majority of the dinner very uncomfortable and in pain. This is at one of my favorite hotels and our second year staying here. We've looked forward to this for awhile so this was a disappointing and frustrating start to a romantic weekend. It's a small detail, but sometimes those matter more than the bigger things.

We were seated outside by the pool to enjoy a lovely sunset dinner. We were being eaten alive by tiny bugs, so we asked to be repeated inside. The staff was super accommodating and made space for our large party. While I waited, I had a chance to look at the interior decor. This is a very tastefully decorated restaurant with a nautical theme, which was on point for Hutchinson Island. It was elegant and upscale. I won't name her, but our server was TERRIBLE. She was slow, inattentive, and very rude. She reached across the table often, which was off-putting to see a server reach over someone's food or drinks to place or clear dishes. She also seemed impatient with us although we spent a lot of time waiting for her. Finally the food. I ordered the High Roller. As a large party, we already expected a long wait. Fine, an hour it is. But when I got my food, it was cold. Again, big group so you get grace. Where they went wrong is when they under cooked the colossal shrimp in the dish. I had to spit out the equivalent of one shrimp in a napkin (sorry about that) and I sent the other shrimp back to the kitchen to cook longer. What I got back were 4 or 5 medium shrimp seasoned and sautéed perfectly. Not the end of the world but an obvious switcheroo. I did enjoy the dish but I wouldn't get that again. I think I'd like the Blue Crab Grouper better next time. Overall, there were too many small things to overlook the half and half experience. I don't live near Hutchinson Island, so I won't be back to that location, but there are others closer to me that I'll try.

Glad she did! Super thin cracker crust. Not a traditional dough. Sauce is really good. There is something a tad different. Can't put my finger on it, but we really enjoyed the sauce! Cut in squares, but not big Sicilian-like squares. Maybe 2-4 bite small squares. Kid and senior friendly. They put it on a really cool multi-bubble tray to keep it aerated and keep the integrity of a super crispy, cracker crust. Totally different than anything we ever had growing up in NY and NJ, and having "Apizza"-style Massachusetts pies. Like Dad always says about pizza, "Love the one you're with!" SERVICE = Arrive mid-afternoon. 3:30pm. We were the only ones there, as it was between lunch and dinner. For those with low vision, medium lighting. Not too bright and not too dark. The server was sweet and attentive. We asked questions, and she made good suggestions. She came back and asked how we like led the pie and if we need a few more cold ones. AMBIENCE = Cute corner, sleepy beach town, tourist hot spot on the intracoastal. Loved the color of the brick and grout on the wall! Old black and white arrest pics of celebrities- Elvis, Larry King, David Bowie, Mick Jagger. Said 46 occupants. Small, intimate square footage. It's was perfect for an afternoon date. I would assume it would get loud when packed. A few umbrella tables outside. A few 10 minute parking spots right in front for pick up. VALUE = YES! $4.50 Heineken & Stella's $2.00 Diet A&W root beer $19.50 medium sausage pizza =$35.00 RETURN = YAAAAAS! Hope they open one in Jupiter or Palm Beach Gardens! So many great old Florida plazas to move into and create a following in South Florida! Sadly, we were so excited to eat, we didn't take pics of the pie! Just go! Try something new.

A Meal So Good Heaven Might Ask About It…read more Some dinners fill you up. Some dinners impress you. And then there are dinners like the one we had at Chef's Table in Stuart--the kind of meal that feels like it was designed by someone who understands that food is more than nourishment... it's memory. We went to celebrate my son's birthday, and before the first bite even arrived, the experience had already begun. The menus were printed with "Happy Birthday" and his name, a small but thoughtful touch that set the tone for the entire evening. It felt personal, intentional--like the night had been prepared just for him. And then the food arrived. I ordered the Bolognese, and I'm not exaggerating when I say it was the kind of dish you quietly pause for after the first bite. Rich, layered, perfectly balanced--every strand of pasta coated in a sauce that tasted like it had been simmering since the Renaissance. Comforting but refined. Rustic but elegant. It was the sort of plate where conversation stops for a moment because everyone is too busy appreciating what's happening. Across the table, the beef Wellington was a masterpiece. Perfectly pink at the center, wrapped in golden pastry that shattered delicately with each cut, surrounded by a sauce so good it deserved its own applause. The entire meal felt like one of those rare experiences where craft, hospitality, and atmosphere align perfectly. The lighting, the pacing of the courses, the warmth of the service--it all made the night feel like something special was unfolding. If someone told me this would be my last meal on Earth, I wouldn't complain. In fact, I'd probably smile knowing that when I got to the gates, the angels might lean over and ask: "Wait... was it really as good as they say?" And I'd tell them the truth. Yes. It absolutely was. Thank you to the team at Chef's Table for giving my son a birthday dinner we'll remember for the rest of our lives.

This place was so delightful, even though I was only in Stuart for a little over a week I came here…read moretwice! This food scene in Stuart is great and Chef's Table is no exception. On the first visit, we shared a corn salad, which was warm and delicious. We each got a half portion of pasta 1. cavatelli Cacio e Pepe was delightful. 2. Cordoncini w/ shrimp was tasty and inventive. We each ended with a dessert. My dining companion had a scoop of pistachio which she liked. The only less-than-stellar option was the tiramisu. Being from the northeast, I have had tiramisu more times than I can count at various Italian restaurants and this one just didn't do it for me. It felt like it was prepared at least a day in advance, and there was some sort of liquid at the bottom that made it un appealing. But, it did not stop me from wanting to return. I went back 6 days later for another wonderful meal!

The atmosphere: The restaurant is ultra modern with a bit of all natural spliced in. It offers dining and a small store to buy some of their offerings. The service: Service was efficient and although our food took longer than expected to arrive, our server kept visiting us to refill our drinks. The food: We all had burgers and fries. The burgers were tasty and juicy and the fries were great. We also shared a honey pie dessert which was also an interesting offering and well made. The bottom line: As always with my reviews the bottom line "customer so what" would we come back? The answer... nope! I'm sure your asking, If the service was good, the atmosphere nice and the food great, why would we not come back? The answer is the price. It's not often I pay over $100 for burgers, fries, a shared dessert and drinks but we did here. The food was good but not THAT good that it warranted that kind of price.
