Thankfully, we found this team and they completely saved the week for us. From the very first conversation, the staff and owner were incredibly accommodating and understanding of our situation. They worked quickly to get us set up with a pontoon for the entire week and made the process seamless and stress free. It truly felt like they went above and beyond to rescue our plans. The pontoon was perfect for our family and made exploring the Naples waterways an absolute highlight of our trip. The boat was clean, comfortable, and reliable, exactly what you want when you're out on the water day after day. What really stood out was how easy they were to work with. Their pricing was very fair, communication was great, and the entire experience felt honest and customer focused. These people should be ashamed of themselves We have been coming and renting from this spot for 5 years. We had called in the morning to ask them about their cancelling policy because it was raining in the morning. They told us $75.00 to push it back to February and $250.00 (Half) to cancel reservation. We left the reservation and came with our 11 people. We started to back the boat from the dock and noticed a tilt in the boat. We asked the dock crew if the boat was tilted... they took a look at it, had us move around and told us yea it was tilted. The dock crew of Wendy and Dylan were very polite. They told us they had no boats remaining so we proceeded back to the office where we met the disrespectful Gina and Rich. We were first discussing it with Rich. He called "the owner" to see "what he could do for us". He said we can give you half tour money back because we were last Minute cancelling. At that point our day was already ruined and now because of a faulty boat we had to pay half? We weren't even cancelling because we were on the boat ready to go. Then the sneaky annoying Gina said "you called early in the morning. You plotted this whole thing to get out of paying the $75.00" If we really wanted to cancel we would have ate the $75.00 charge and came back in February. It's $500 to rent the boat. Do you really think we care about the $75.00?! We always come on this trip. Once the office staff of Gina and Rich started getting cute and asking us to stay quiet because their were other customers in the store we got more angry and they got louder. And on top of that they had us waiting around for 45 minutes. I don't know how they run a business but from working in the restaurant business for 10 years, what I have learned is that the customer is always right and if there is a problem and you want to continue to have that persons business, you attend to them in 5 minutes or less... Not sure why there are a few negative reviews, I'm thinking the customers are at fault because we rented from them yesterday and it was a great experience from the moment we booked. We booked the day before for a 18.8 SportStack for 3 adults and a 10yr old. The inside staff (2 women) were so great and professional we got all the paperwork filled out within 5 minutes. They have a cute little gift shop with everything from drinks to hats to lip balms, it's a good last minute grab. They offered us a cargo cart for our belongings and we proceeded to the dock, it was about a 3 minute wait at the dock because there were a few people ahead of us. The dock worker (tall skinny blonde hair guy) came to us and led us to the boat, helped us get our cargo on board, we did the checklist and he showed us how to operate the boat and navigate the waters. The boat was clean and comfortable and he answered all of the questions and concerns that we had about what we should expect. They did have us take photos of the prop before we left which makes sense since many people go to keewaydin I'm sure damage can be done with an inexperienced boater (like myself) and low tide, but they checked upon arrival and no damage was done, a woman and the same guy from our departure helped us unload asked about our day and sent us on our way. Everything about this was great, we saw the few negative reviews before booking but decided to experience it for ourselves and it was worth the full day booking. I wish I could have gotten the names of the staff to give them a shout-out but unfortunately I did not. Looking for a new adventure while visiting family from out of town so we found a Groupon for a full day of Extreme Boat Rentals! At an amazing deal we purchased it and planned for a great day out on the open water! Arriving to the Marina there is plenty of free parking around. You will see the Boat Dock but if you are renting one of their boats or anything on the water you must go to the Office first. Their Office/Store is located directly in front of the Dock if looking at the businesses to your Right (Next to the Public Restrooms). While inside their Store you can purchase anything from Snacks, Ice, Beer, Sodas, Gifts, and any last minute items you might have forgot. **Note they do not do any extra rentals such as Fishing Poles, Tubes, or Snorkel Gear. After showing our Groupon and paying the extra fees we were off to the Boat Dock to load onto our Deck Boat. Full Boat Days are from 9am-5pm and you really want to take advantage of the full day as there is a lot to see and do! Staff was friendly and showed us everything on the boat that we needed to know (Anchor, Registration, Etc). They also explain the Channels and Waterways showing where to go and not to go. This is very helpful with a laminated map they give you for the day. The Boat itself was new, clean, and in great condition. No wear and tear and plenty of space on board big enough for 8! You can go to many restaurants, sightsee all the waterfront homes, and go to Keewaydin Island! Our goal was Keewaydin Island and should also be yours too! Make sure to get there early as it does fill up fast! It takes about an hour to get there by boat but the drive is amazing! Very scenic and you go through Manatee waters so a spotting is very likely! I would definitely rent from them again but be sure to check your motor and get one that has a little umpf in it if you want to go fast! We got stuck with a 115hp but that was okay since we had a nervous one on the boat! Have fun!! read more

We've rented from these guys a few times and each time have had a seamless experience. Easy check in, helpful dock hands that make sure you fully understand the boat and the routes you can take around the area. The boats are clean and in great shape. After a fun day out, the dock hands are right there to help bring you in. We've never experienced any issues with unwarranted charges. We will definitely rent here again! *tip* - ask at the office and they will give you a cooler to use for the day for free. They also sell bags of ice. Just make sure you return the cooler back to the office at the end of the day when you return. read more

We had an exceptional time. Everyone was friendly and explained everything we needed to know. I too saw the negative reviews and was mildly concerned but I know my way around boats so we forged ahead. They did have me take a picture of the prop before and after- which is smart to cover me and them. The boat ran great, the map provided was helpful, they offered some info about Keewaydin that we didn't know ie. food, drinks and ice cream are available. One piece of advice if you're going to Keewaydin - go early to get a spot to beach your boat. I will definitely be renting from them again. There were so many negative reviews that I decided to call back and cancel. I called back a little after 10 am. The manager Gina told me that because I canceled that it's company policy that they were gonna charge me for the boat rental anyway. I asked if I could speak to the owner and she said I could leave a message for him but not to expect a callback. We wanted to rent a small boat for the day while visiting Naples. We did some inital research on internet but then found these guys in a tourist brochure. The price we got was about $50 less than what everyone else advertised for rental only but these guys included the fuel! that is a big savings!!!! We called ahead & when we arrived, Jeff had the boat ready for us & even gave us plenty of ice for the cooler we brought with us. Jeff gave us very clear directions and made some wonderful suggestions for places we had to see. The boat was clean & ran great! we had it for 5 hours out on the canals, to the edge of the Gulf, to Kewaden Beach and then to Marco Island for lunch. Overall the nicest rental boats in the area available to rent. The office and dock staff are happy to help I any way possible as well as answer any and all questions that you may have... Its a nice boat ride to Keewadin island, a preserve that it's only possible to reach by boat. It's about an hour each direction from the dock to beach and back... And another 45 min ride from Keewadin will get you and your party to isle of Capri or Marco Island for lunch, and drinks... If your schedule is flexible and you have the choice and option, I would very much recommend going out on of the days of the week instead of Friday, Saturday or Sundays as the waterways those 3 days are packed with so much more boat traffic along the route to any of the possible destinations... It isn't so bad as to make thing unenjoyable or to much to be worth going out at all .. but given the choice and Monday thru Thursday there are lots of times the beach has less then 10 boats on the entire beach compared to the 3 weekend days where it can be possible to have several hundred boats beached up and down the island... And the guys on the dock do work for cash tips, so if you feel they worked hard and did well helping you and your party don't forget to tip... They fuel the boats for you, prep it by making sure all the seats are down and compartments shut and over all the boats and it's equipment are in order and ready for your party to load up and take off. Upon your return they help you dock by giving instructions should you need and want them, securing your boat to the dock helping get rid of any trash or debris you want removed and out of the way try to get a dock cart at the end of the slip in front of your boat for you to load all your stuff in and make it easy to transport back to your vehicle and usually before you get off the dock I'm headed to your car one of the guys is already started spraying the boat with disinfectant soap and cleaner and is jumping on with a scrub brush and magic eraser to make sure the boat is totally cleaned and detailed before the next use... My friend had confirmed emails about a driver and about their reservation for a boat. The front desk refused to give us a driver unless she paid an extra $200, saying she never paid even though there was an email confirmation. We were told to be there at 8 am and got on the boat at 9am, when we were told we would be on it at 8:30. She paid the $200 only for her mom to drive the boat....service was unacceptable. Not sure what happened to this place. Visited last summer and it was seamless. Visited recently for a boat rental and it was completely disorganized. Had a scheduled reservation, and had to call to get someone to come open the store despite sign saying they were open. One staffer didn't know her password to log onto the computer. A young staffer with fingernails that rivaled Edward scissor hands was rude and dismissed my concern that because the store opened late, it was cutting into my reservation time. However, I guess I fared better than the guy behind me who drove two hours and had a reservation for two months only to be told they lost it. read more

Had an awesome experience renting a boat for 5 ladies during a bachelorette party. Booking was incredibly easy and the process to get checked in/instruction on how to use their equipment was a breeze. There was a slight misunderstanding with what kind of boat we were renting but they explained that the Black Hurricane Sun Deck had ample space for 5 passengers (they were right)! They provide a map of which areas to go to/avoid which is easy enough to follow. You can BYOB and enjoy half a day in the bay. HORRIBLE! Stay away from this business. Our experience was TERRIBLE! They wanted to charge us $500 for a small scratch on the fiberglass. Ultimately settled for $275. Then they admitted that 13 out of 15 boats come back with damage. What was even more curious is that I received a call from them when I was docked at the Snook Inn that they "received a call from someone that our boat was rubbing on the dock" COME ON! who takes the time to call a business about a rental boat. It seems to me that this is a total scam. Could it possibly be that they have someone at the restaurant to "report" when someone stops there. Then to make it worse they had the nerve to tell me that they tell people to stay away from Snook Inn. somehow I never got that word. We had a great experience! We rented a 15 passenger Tri-Toon for Memorial Day for 4 families, no issues whatsoever. Staff was very friendly when I called to book and again helpful and friendly when we checked in the morning of our booking. I was very specifically told that I had until 9am the day before to cancel for a full refund, so that was made clear to us ahead of time. It took us a bit of time to get loaded up onto the boat due to our poor understanding of where to drop our stuff off and where to park. No complaints other than the driving rain we experienced the last 25 mins of our trip back to the dock. The guys down on the dock were very friendly and helpful as well. BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! THESE PEOPLE ARE RUDE AND DISHONEST We rented a pontoon boat on 8/29/20, from Extreme Family Fun Spot. My son-in-law checked out the boat with an employee Of Extreme Family Fun Spot. However, we were QUICKLY rushed out by the staff and were not able to check every little detail. Though my son-in-law picked up on some dents on the boat and noted them, he apparently missed the ladder in the back of the boat next to the motor. We had a great day. When we got back, the staff checked the boat, noticed the dents and pointed them out to us. It seemed THEY WANTED TO BLAME US FOR THOSE DENTS, but these were noted on the list my son-in-law completed, and pointed this out to them before the trip. Then they told us that the ladder was broken, and said that we did it. WE DID NOT USE, OR EVEN TOUCH THAT LADDER. This should have been specifically checked by the company for safety and not dependent on the people renting it. Thankfully, that ladder was not used or someone would have gotten hurt. They claimed a bolt was missing and it was our fault! When we tried to explain that we didn't use the ladder or even go near it, the employee, NAMED RICH, was quite rude in his response saying, "I've heard that before". We were then accused of lying, because 'someone had to do it'. We did NOT use that ladder and told them. Then he made an accusation that another boat must have hit us to cause the damage, because the ladder is also bent. He continued by saying "maybe we could work this out". We were with the boat the whole time and did not leave it. No boat came near us, and we surely would have known if a boat hit us! We replied to the staff that we were 'near the boat the entire time' and what they were accusing us of never happened. They said they were putting a charge of $300 on my credit card for the damage. I told them they do not have my permission to go into my credit card because we did not do any damage to their boat. The credit card company informed me there was the $300 plus another $500 added to my original charge for renting the boat. Employee 'RICH' says he could help us out by only charging $300. But, it seems, because we gave him a hard time and didn't agree, they charged us $500. When I called Extreme Family Fun Spot, the employee told me they only put a charge of $300 on the card. I insisted that they had also put the charge of $500 on it, she kept denying it. As I was speaking with her I heard talking in the background. She then stated that the owner put the $500 charge on my card. They removed the $300 charge (apparently because we would not admit that we damaged the ladder), so instead hit us with $500. As God is my witness, I can honestly say that whatever the damage was, it was not caused by myself or my family. This is a crooked company STAY AWAY. read more

We rented a pontoon boat yesterday, Nov. 1, 2021. We were very careful and have a LOT of experience with pontoons, since we live on a lake and have our own.. Staff asked us to take pictures "for our own protection", of the prop beforehand. We thought that was unusual. Had a great time. Not even a remote chance, that something happened. Came back in and paid the bill. 30 minutes later got a call that the propeller was damaged. Found out the prop was switched out while we were paying our bill. $350 later... asked to speak to the owner, we were told he will never speak to a customer. The entire conversation was very scripted. My advice, stay there while they are cleaning the boat and someone else in your group is paying the bill. Looks like they have scammed many people this way. My family and I have been renting here for 10 + years and have never had an issue until recently. I reserved boats online and had to call the shop on March 5, 2022 to cancel as the dates I booked were incorrect. I spoke with either Tiffany or Trisha and they informed me that they were busy at the time but would ensure the cancellations would be taken care. Unfortunately, they never made the cancellations. I received a call within less than 24 hours of the reservation and told Jenny that those reservations were never cancelled, and they had to charge me a fee of more than half the cost of reservation because it wasn't cancelled before 24 hours of reservation and if I didn't like just to dispute it with your cc company. The lack of ownership of mistakes and the lack of integrity from the owner of this business is very disappointing. We tell him the other employee validated there was no additional damage. After a few minutes of heated dispute, he said we were good to go and he was OK with everything. We asked for extra time to get all the time we paid for. They demanded we come back shorter than the amount we booked. Since my boyfriend and I were staying at Bayfront Inn on Fifth, we didn't think twice about checking out Extreme Rental in Naples. Located in the hotel's backyard, Extreme Rental offers boat rentals, kayak rentals and sunset cruises. The sunset cruise cost more than we wanted to spend, and we had watched the sunset on the beach the previous night (a must-do) so we decided to rent a tandem kayak which was about $40. It was a beautiful day and calming experience. We kayaked through the river for 2-3 hours, enjoying the gorgeous weather, calm water, bird watching, and... dolphin watching!!! That's right, we saw dolphins! We caught sight of the dolphins swimming right by our kayaks as we were returning to the bay which was the perfect close to a great, adventurous experience. This is a great outdoor activity to enjoy on a beautiful day in Naples! read more

When we returned they noticed the prop was bent and we showed them our picture that we took prior to boarding that showed that the prop was already damaged. Went out on the boat today. Had an awesome time, got there 15 minutes early and I was on my way on the water. I used their groupon. It was $120 and I paid about $90 for tax and gas. I spent a full 8 hours out in the inlet. I couldn't go out in the ocean but I've been boating for a few year and I can tell you if your not 100% experienced it can get tough out there or lost. There's plenty of sandbars you can go out on once your on the water. We went to a little beach with food boats and ice cream. I had a blast! Scenic views, boats are in great condition. Friendly staff. George was our boat attendant he showed us all the boats and whistles and told us where to go on the map to have a best time. Family of 4, had a great time spent 8 hours on the water. Never rent a boat from this company! Boat was is poor condition and extremely poor customer service from manager. Please believe what we are writing. We rented a boat on 4/26/23. My husband and 2 friends are experienced boaters. We took the boat out and got through the bay and after we were able to go faster than just idle, he noticed he couldn't take his hand off the throttle otherwise the boat would slow down. The trim gauge and speedometer didn't work. When we brought the boat back the kid on the dock said, yeah I took the boat out 2 days ago and it wasn't working good. We said, why did you give us this boat then??? There were plenty of other boats. My husband called and asked to speak with a manager, who only works on Saturday and has another job. He called again and she never called back so he went to the boat rental facility. The manager basically laughed in his face. When my husband told her that this was the worst customer service he's experienced, she threatened to call the police. My husband told her to call them...she never did.
