I've been a customer for almost five years, spending $5000-$10,000 per year maintaining my BMW and Kawasaki Mule. Today, my status as a customer was terminated because my vehicles are too old. I have never haggled over the maintenance charges, paid all bills when due, and bought parts and accessories over the counter. I made the choice to do business with them vs the internet, even when I could have saved money buying from internet suppliers. Extreme rip off!!!!! Bought a set of tires for my Harley and after they were installed there was a vibration, so I called them. I brought it back and they said my bearings were bad and tried to charge me another $190. There was no vibration before they installed the tires. They tried to tell me that a bad bearing caused the tire to need 1oz increase in weights. I took it to another shop and asked them to check it out and the bearings were fine. ( I watched them check and rebalance the tire). I saved $130 I won't ever go back! read more

VERY SHADY DEALERSHIP. Stay far away from Extreme Powersports Columbus, GA. I am really pissed off. I traveled all the way from New York to pick up a brand new 2024 Kawasaki Z900RS. Cash in hand. The bike was in mint condition when I saw it in person. I rode the bike 2 hours in heavy rain to drop it off at another property in Georgia. Soon as I got on the highway, my right side mirror was swaying in the wind. I was basically riding with one mirror the whole time. That was the first telltale sign of a dropped bike. Once I reached my destination, I dried the bike of all the rain water and noticed scratches all over the right side of the bike. Obviously the dealership dropped my bike and tried to hide the scratches by touching it up with some paint. They didn't do much of a good job trying to hide it. The rain I rode the bike through washed away their "touch ups" and revealed the hidden damages. I contacted the dealership and let them know that I was aware of what was done. Of course they tried to act as if they didn't drop my bike. Typical deceitful dealership behavior. I've uploaded before and after pictures of when I first saw the bike at the dealership and when I reached my destination as proof. I absolutely do not recommend this dealership. I would never do business with them again. If you value your time and money, do not do business with them. read more

We walked in and no one came up to greet us or ask us anything in regards to our visit. We walked around the store we showed interest in a few items, but no one showed us any attention. Called to check price and availability of parts. I have an account, they have my number, I specifically told them how far I was driving. Price went up over $25 when I went to get them. I left without them This is common practice at x-treme. This is one of the most dishonest businesses I've ever had to try and deal with. By the time they were done it was over $13,000. And no power steering. So they lied in the advertisement and jacked up a bunch of bogus charges to bring to $13,000 or more . They charge me for destination, freight, assembly, dealer, fees, document fees. This is a joke. It's like going to the store and buying five dollar eggs and finding out it's nine dollars because someone had to put it on the shelf and it had to get to the store for some reason. I would like to say how EXCELLENT THE SERVICE that I received at Extreme today. I was having an issue with my seatbelt in my Slingshot and had called in to get an appointment. I was told that it would be late September before someone could look at it. I went to their Extreme Bike night last Thursday and saw Mychael Kirkland and spoke with him about it. Can I say that I'm so glad that I ran into him. He brought Tanner over to me and they both advised me to bring it in today! I took it in today and Tanner looked it over and order me a new seatbelt. I'm so GRATEFUL that they made this happen! That's what you call EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! They knew how serious this issue was for me! Thanks again Mychael and Tanner! Good for buying things, but beware of their service and repair shop. Complete trash and dangerous. Took son's motorcycle in for new tires and brakes. They broke break caliper and charged us $550 to fix. While driving motorcycle home, my son's bike chain came off. Poor tensioner adjustment by the maintenance tech. They admitted that they only test drove it for a few blocks before giving it back to us. Claimed chain came off because of bad bearings. Took bike to two other shops for separate opinions and ball bearings are fine. Maintenance shop is cluttered, disorganized; technicians are shiftless and manager (Levi) is clueless and unprofessional. Will never use these jamokes for anything in the future. I took my 4 wheeler to extreme over a month ago for a broken shock. Here it is almost Novemeber and my 4 wheeler is still not repaired. Personally I think they keep your equipment until your warranty runs out and then any future repais that the warranty would have covered​ will then need to be paid out of pocket. They claimed they orded the parts on 10/13 and it's still not fixed 17 days later. I am a very unhappy customer. My husband was planning on buying me a side by side next year from them. Based on this horrible experience we will be taking our business elsewhere. Let me start out by saying that this may not be Extreme's fault, but my BMW R18 has been waiting for parts after an accident for over a month. The dealer says it is back-ordered from the factory. When I call BMW directly, they say there is nothing they can do about my concern because I have to work with the dealer. I am getting the circular corporate run around with no one taking responsibility. Parts should not take this long. When I, and some other friends, have had similar situations with another brand of motorcycle, that dealer was very willing to take a part off a bike on the showroom to ensure customer service. Not only did their lender approve me with 620 credit, they also held the motorcycle for me and even completed the paper work on it before I was able to get the down payment. Ladon was an excellent salesperson! He took great care of me from beginning to end. Go see him! However... Dealing with the credit department this week was one of the worst experiences I've EVER had! Zach (apparently the credit manager?) was dismissive, rude, disrespectful and less than honest with me. He tried fast talking me into buying 'extras' without explaining to me that they were optional, he changed the terms of the contract without telling me and when I politely called attention to this, he then behaved like a petulant child rather than a professional representative of a seemingly reputable company. I can't recall a time in my entire life when I, as a customer, have been treated so poorly. Once he realized that I wasn't okay with being treated this way, he then handed me off to his 'assistant' who had an equally peevish attitude. She tried half-heartedly explaining that Zach was late for a dinner date of some kind (as if thats an excuse for bad behavior!) and that's why he was so rude and insulting. I mean... WHAT..? I drove over two hours to visit this dealership and purchase this machine and were it not for that, I would have walked out of there and never come back. I took my machine in for some warranty work on the cv joint. After getting my machine back I noticed there was a clicking noise upon investigation I noticed they hit the CV joint with a hammer and busted the boot so I took it in to get a new CV joint and fix the clicking noise. they fix the CV joint but I still had the clicking noise. so I took it to Albany they discovered that the assembly of the CV joint and brakes were loose so twice Columbus extreme Powersports cost me over $100 to fix and labor these mechanics must not be certified I truly recommend that you use Albany Polaris dealer it's a little bit of a drive but worth it. read more

Nice friendly people. Using the parts department was a five-star experience Using the service department I give them a two star, there was a breakdown between the front desk and the mechanics. I took my Polaris to get the clicking sound in the rear end fixed. they noticed the CV joint was loose so they beat it on with a hammer ! Had to take it back so that they can fix the CV joint correctly and fix the clicking sound. they replaced the CV joint, that they hit with a hammer but did not fix the clicking noise. every time there was a breakdown between the service desk and the mechanics..While cleaning my polaris to take to Albany GA, to fix the clicking sound, I noticed the computer port was laying on the battery were it could get wet and fill up with mud. Recently I contacted Extreme Powersports inquiring as to whether or not they worked on a certain Jet Boat. I went great lengths to describe the boat, make model and all so as to make sure they had the required information. I was informed (by CARSON ) they did in fact work on said such and proceeded to let him know I would be driving 2 1/2 hours to bring said boat in. Final words were see ya then. Arriving 2 1/2 hours I walk in and locate "Carson" only to be told, oh yeah I was wrong we don't work on said such boats..... Blink Blink Blink. Rather than tell the guy what a Moron I thought he was and what a waste of time him and the business unit is, i walked back outside and found another business thankfully to do the work needed. I only hope when someone reads this, they take a second and in todays world understand this is not how you gain business. These people misled me from the start. I wanted a Kawasaki Mule and they presented themselves as a Kawasaki dealer and said they could order what I wanted. In fact, they are not a dealer and actually bought what I wanted from a dealer 40 miles away and resold it to me. The big problem occurred when the Mule I bought needed repair. Extreme Power Sports would (could?) not honor a warranty for anything. Regardless of my problem, it is always "not covered under warranty". At present, I have a new, $13,000. Mule sitting in my garage which barely runs. Earlier, I had taken my old Mule to them for a starting problem. They charged me $600.00 for replacing the $20.00 starter switch (I just recently discovered). I have been swindled and lied to. If you're thinking of doing business here, don't.
