As you can see in the photo, they advertise their elote comes with roasted corn; it is not roasted. It's plain sweet corn, obviously canned. Secondly they advertise they serve it with queso fresco; but it's not queso fresco. It's Parmesan cheese, which tastes disgusting on an elote. Lastly, they advertise it's served with their home made chili powder and lime (paste) which is the Mexican street style way of having an elote. Well it was NOT their homemade sauce. It was salsa VALENTINA ‍ I really wanted to give them a chance since they're local and close to home but I'll just stick to ordering from Helados La Azteca in Haltom. After getting gas, I went in today and got a candy bar so i could get cash back for 4 dollars to buy a lottery ticket, since you can't buy lottery ticket with a debit card which is ridiculous. So when i went to ask for cash back, the lady at the register seemed confused, she finally said "we don't do cash backs on cards" she then directed me to the ATM. Knowing the store very well, i knew the lowest amount you can withdraw from your bank account using that particular ATM was $20, i am not withdrawing 20 dollars from my bank account for a $2 dollars lottery ticket. I then told her, i don't want the candy bar and left it on the table and walked out. I am extremely disappointed with them. The only reason why i didn't give the one star is because they are friendly. Literally almost every other convince store, except this one, offers cash back on a debit cards why can't they?
