I have a Marathon credit card in good standing and usually use that as tender. It isn't as if I have no past association with Marathon and it hasn't been limited to this one location. When my purchase didn't come up to $5, she tersely informed me that I would have to purchase something else or she would have to add a charge until the $5 threshold was reached. I'd had enough of her rudeness and told her to add a charge. I understand the practice but I certainly didn't understand the rudeness of the request. I've been in the business twice since and this woman's piss poor people skills remain the same. I've reached out to the home office twice and was told the complaint would be forwarded to the franchise owner. I have yet to be contacted by anyone on the local level and I'm pretty done with a place where someone receiving my patronage treats me like I'm a kid spending my allowance. The nasty acting old woman needs to go back to finish charm school.
