The building has 3 doors, no visible signs, its a game to start where to find the eye dr. The dr stasio was a nice but i have nj familycare and my exam costed $100. How is it cheaper with no insurance at walmart vision, which i wouldve gotten in sooner and a better experience overall? How did i wake up 2 days later with an additional $50 bill? I didnt like how they started putting drops in my eyes without consent either. I told the tech i was dealing with hypersensitized nerves, floaters in my vision and this made it 10x worse. All i wanted was a vision test and they start doing all these tests to run up the bill on my insurance. Scam business just like the rest of them. read more

They cancel my appointment EVERY TIME. Then, bombard me with Robo-calls asking me to call in and reschedule the appointment that THEY canceled. Try calling to make appointment & on auto hold FOREVER, never able to speak to anyone. And yet- the annoying Robo- calls still continue. Even sent a FAX with NO REPLY. I believe their existence is to just annoy me. Cant seem to find another purpose. read more

Dr. Tyson is a fantastic doctor and so is Dr Sarah Bonafini!! However, their staff leaves a lot to be desired ! Without complete knowledge of me having a free eye visit, they charged me $60 on the spot!!! After I complained to my insurance company and they confirmed that my visit was free, they contacted Eye Associates and then they had the audacity to make me wait 45 to 60 days fir my money!! What a Rob job! I am lodging a complaint for the terrible customer service!! I really needed that $60 to pay other bills and they really screwed me !! Even after repeating calls for help!! I just had my lasik eye surgery two days ago, all the employees were amazing very friendly and respectful, the surgery went smoothly and quickly, not painful just uncomfortable which is tolerable. Very quick about 10-15 minutes maximum, the employees during the surgery could've been a little nicer I think but they were just doing their job so overall good experience with this place, would recommend!!! read more

I have been using this eye examination since 1962 (I was 12 at the time), They were bought out by this firm, and I received a bill over 1 year after the appointment, saying I owed $60 (which is the current rate, but at the time it was $45). They continually harass me for this. I always pay at time of service - which they mandate - I will not pay. I sent a personal letter to my doctor, and they never gave him the letter. I have called and mailed them, with no response. I would not recommend this firm. read more

I was there May of 2022. Was prepping for lasik surgery, and the nurse told me I should have had my beauty mark on my face removed instead! I was already nervous and this just added to my anxiety! I am not happy with eye assoc. was seen oct 2020 needed to come back to see a specialist. Was seen Jan 2021 . Told reception I didn't have a copay for that visit . She said to pay anyway and I would get back if I was suppose to . I checked with insurance wasn't suppose to pay . Spoke with them was told they would check . Didn't hear for a few months I called back they said I would get it but would take awhile . Called several times over the summer left messages . Now I have spoken to 2 different people was taken over by another company records only go back to June 2021 . I have been told they would check into it and still nothing . If I could give zero stars I would. The eye doctor I see is great and this review is more for the support staff. I was in for an annual exam in April. At that time I ordered contact lens. Due to the script they need to go through one person in Vineland and not the optical group. The experience with this individual has been a nightmare to say the least. Took her a month and a half to submit to Insurance to start the process. This was after me calling her MANY times and her not calling back. When I finally did talk to her she just told me she has too much work to do and no time to do this. I have asked for office managers to call me and nothing. Finally after me spending countless hours with my insurance to find out what was going on and them reaching out to the doctors office since this person refused to do her job and no one else in the office was holding her responsible, I got my lens only to try on and find they don't fit! (This took 3 months!) They fall off my eye. So I went back to the doctor again for a recheck and the script was adjusted. I was assured by an office manager that they would stay on top of the rep in Vineland to get these ordered. Was told it would take approx 2 weeks. Well we are at one month and no update. I call to find out the lens came in DAYS ago but again the rep didn't have time to call me. Had I not called who knows when. I would have been told. She then tells me that she can only send to the Blackwood office end of next week! I ask if it can come to cherry hill since that is where I go and it is closer to me. She refused. Again I asked for an office manager and after arguing was sent to a voice mail. I left a message but again no response! It is over 4 months and still no lens. I can't go anywhere else because it will cost me out of pocket (the lens are several thousand dollars) since my Insurance already paid for this. I will be switching because of the unprofessionalism and difficulty with the office staff. No idea if or when I will ever get my new lens and instead I have to continue to wear old lens that hurt my eyes (glasses are not an option due to the strength). read more

Dr. Tyson did my Lasik about 8 years ago. Prior to agreeing, I asked him lots of tough questions. He answered everything perfectly and put me at ease. The Lasik procedure went smoothly. Afterwards, he called me HIMSELF to follow up. In this day and age, doctors are swamped. That showed a lot of care and concern. I would definitely recommend Dr. Tyson at Eye Associates. I recently wrote to Eye Associates with a general inquiry from my new home in Florida. Although they realize I cannot bring my business to them this time, their follow up was super fast and thorough. I have had such a terrible experience with this office since I first visited a few years ago. For starters there is only 1 receptionist/office personnel that can help you with ordering contacts and she works at a different office than the one I have visited. Any time you call the office with a question regarding contacts NO ONE can help you and they transfer you to Chrystal. Then even when you call Chrystal or are transferred to her extension she does not answer or you have to leave a voicemail. Clearly they need more than ONE associate to handle the influx of contact orders. I have now waited over 2 weeks for a contact order. And when I called to ask if someone could just check to make sure the order went through correctly the ONLY thing they were willing to do to help me was transfer me to Chrystal. I will not be returning to this office and I will find eye care elsewhere and I will not recommenced this location. SO NOT HELPFUL. read more

We love our doctor, however the optical department is an UTTER nightmare at MULTIPLE locations. First at the Mullica Hill location my daughter actually had her next scheduled appointment come up before her glasses even arrived... we're talking 4-6 weeks no glasses! Then, multiple weeks to get the glasses to the Vineland location where we'd be picking them up. Next, calling to make the appt to pick up the glasses initiated another week plus wait! The day of the appt we arrived a few minutes early due to understandable COVID related procedures and were told everyone was busy so we'd get a call back in 5 mins. I ended up leaving ALMOST 30 MINUTES LATER when no call came and I had to make another appt I had... an appt I had told the person I spoke with on the phone about because I was willing to reschedule if the wait would be long! When I called to ask what gives no one was aware I was waiting?! From first time ordering to today we're 2 or more months into this process that my young daughter has an expired prescription. I was amazed to be able to see the clock on the wall immediately after the surgery. I would not have trusted anyone else with my eye surgery.
