Then, she made me stand for about 15 minutes before she handed me the clipboard on her desk to complete the forms. She said I had to stand there are waiting while she was on her computer. After she failed at whatever she was doing a couple times, she handed me the clipboard. She had a very bad attitude and no apology. While waiting, I asked if I could sit. She muttered to me to wait. Mind you I am a 62 year old woman with arthritis in both knees. It was very unpleasant so I left. I would never go there again.

The actual cutting was just a minute or two. It's far more strange than painful. Then it's over. However, it's been 3 years now and it still is one of the best things I've ever done for myself. Dr. Wasserman is INCREDIBLY kind, steady, patient, and knowledgeable. His staff is quick to remedy any issues that come up. I've been going back for eye checkups there ever since. Office is clean. Wait times are reasonable. Location is perfect. About a month later, my son had an unrelated accident that seriously injured his eye. Dr. Wasserman quickly took us in for an emergency visit, recognized the problem, and performed a rare procedure right away. It was a very scary situation, but his calmness, knowledge, and compassion helped ease our nerves. Thankfully, my son's vision returned to normal.
