    I had an eye problem and Dr. Heimmel helped me so much. The office is clean and new. Best ophthalmologist around.

These 2 doctors over the years have attended to my needs and I am extremely happy. This is not the problem The call Center is a big problem I go once a year for my annual check up. This year in attempting to schedule an appt no one seemed to answer the phone in a timely manner. I called 3 different time and was put on hold for 15 minutes each time. Finally I got in touch with DonnaShe was unable to schedule an appt in August anytime and was abrupt in her responses. To quote her she knows Dr Grands schedule like the back of her hand. I was almost ready to. Angel the appointment of 9/11 and go somewhere else. Horrible customer service almost as if she is doing me a favor.     I went to the Freehold site yesterday for an appointment on January 27, 3026. The female…read morereceptionist was very rude and inconsiderate. First her demeanor was very rude. Then, she made me stand for about 15 minutes before she handed me the clipboard on her desk to complete the forms. She said I had to stand there are waiting while she was on her computer. After she failed at whatever she was doing a couple times, she handed me the clipboard. She had a very bad attitude and no apology. While waiting, I asked if I could sit. She muttered to me to wait. Mind you I am a 62 year old woman with arthritis in both knees. It was very unpleasant so I left. I would never go there again.

Billing : zero stars. My family has been going here to over 5 years and they charged us as new patients and also $60 for something called Refraction. What is that? we were told it was to get a prescription? This is the first time that they charged me for this. No one explains what it is or if you really need it. just give it to you as part of the papers to sign. Come on now really? Bad practices? Fraudulent? I don't know. Maybe Will let the insurance company and NJ Health department decide. Wait time : 1 star. First wait over 30 min. in the waiting room. Then wait again in another area for over 45min to see the doctor. While they let people who were waiting less time then you go before you to see the doctor. Doctor : 4 stars. Explains the situation, does a good exam, friendly, answers questions. The only thing that had me coming here was Dr. Trottini. But now it is time to take my entire family to another Ophthalmologist group.

The Doctor was extremely professional, thorough and pleasant. Took her time and made a recommendation for a minor surgical procedure and suggested another doctor. I really feel that I'm in good hands and will be back for another visit.
